@ Frank--It wasnt my intention to maximize the amount of ribbons for one model. Being in the construction industry sucks because I can't spend as much time building as I would like. It just so happens that the two campaigns were running simultaneously and I know that I couldn't build a model for each campaign in the alotted time. I'm still somewhat new to armorama and I am not sure what guys did in the past to abuse the system but that wasn't my goal. I appreciate that the two campaign leaders allowed me to participate in both campaigns with the one model. However, if this really upsets everyone I will only enter it in one. If a few more people write back and agree with one model-one campaign then I will definitely withdraw from this campaign to make things right.

Hi all
A few more pics of the Flak panzer I A by Tristar w.i.p
I was only going to change the barrel for an Aber one ,but I got an Armorscale one instead which is far better(IMHO),and the flash supressor is preformed too
Then I needed a spent case basket,so one Dragon flak 38 later (who could resist all those pe shields ) the complete gun swopped
The tracks are the kit ones and are great, they fitted a treat.
Just a few small bits to fit ,zorst shields, tow pin...
and its ready for a coat of primer(trailers been done)
more pics soon when it gets some paint on

I'm getting some work done on my 3cm Flak 38/103 and am finding a few issues that do not show up in any of the reviews I've seen so far.
The injection plastic main gunshields have locator points for the horizontal brace (part A38) that connects them to each other and then to the gun itself and the etched parts do NOT.
I did not notice this until I got most of the shield bits soldered together, so it is not as simple a matter of setting them down side by side and marking them now.
Glancing ahead to step 7 this problem reappears with the etch splinter shield attached to the barrel, and are also missing several smaller fittings found on the rear of the injection molded part A49.
maybe some pics of what I am talking about later.
Mike

I did it a few times, but no one was interested enough to actually leave a feedback...
I wouldnt be discouraged by that. Im currently scouting around in there. Feedback from members or not, if the photos are well taken and the build is well documented, i could still pick it to be a build feature so definitely keep at it.

I have previously finished my GAZ truck with ZSU-23/2 for this campaign and posted pictures of the final entry in this tread. Is there a gallery where I should also post pictures?

Now I've started on the Airfix 1/76 scale Bofors gun. Now I have to build something to tow it but it will not be the one in the kit.
Not big but it's here.

I found the Achtung JaBo gallery at Kitmaker and has uploaded photos of my finished entry.
I noticed that there was just one other entry there Despite I have seen a few finished ones here in this tread. I am not sure everybody knows that they are supposed to upload in the gallery as well.

Greetings fellow geese hunters,
My assembly of my Flak 38 (Tamiya) is now complete. It is ready for some primer, then painting and weathering!

Hi all
heres my completed entry, the Flak panzer I A by Tristar ,with the Dragon Flak 38 replacing the original kit one.
pre shaded with NATO black, then a coulpe of coats of German grey, the second with a little white added, then a light misting of flat white.
The whole thing was drybrushed with white and finished with Mig pigs and Cmk star dust.
The tracks were painted with Mr color dark iron, and buffed, then highlighted with a pencil.
The mud is a mixture of "Wickes forget nails" with burnt umber poster paint, and Mig's Russian earth pigment added.
The flag was made fron a piece of tin foil painted red and white with a swastika decal added.
Hope you like
any questions,comments welcome

@Andy--model looks great--good job. Only thing I would have done different would have been to have a dirty/muddy/water coating on the trailer rims and the insides of the road wheels. Only reason I say that is because mud is shown on the trailer and tank that is over top of the tires/wheels. Thats not a negative comment and just an observation. Plus--sometimes online photos dont show the details such as weathering near as well IMO. I hope my model comes out looking as good as yours!

Heres my progress .....
Come up with a plan and then had to wait for the Kugelblitz conversion to arrive from tracks n troops. Got here a couple of days ago .......
And what is it ...? Its my FSV/AA vehicle for my project 46 Schwere SPW platoon. A series of vehicles based on the Hummel chassis, to allow engine at the front and crew compartments/weapons loadouts at the rear.
cheers
Brent

Another cool looking creation Brent, gives me an idea for something to do with the old inaccurate DML Hummel I have hiding away...

Dartman, interesting kit. I do not think I have ever seen that kit before. Is it just a DML reboxing or are some new parts included?
Brent, great one! Looking forward to see it finished.

I beleive it is a Gunze kit with Dragon wheels and tracks(not the smart tracks). It doesn't have any metal parts and the barrels are very poor. I plan on replacing them with Lion Roar barrels. I have a set of tracks that I'm not sure who made them, but they fit together very well and look better than the ones in the kit. I will try and post more pictures soon.
