That was an error on Dragons Part. They mislabeled the color as Pale Green, which is actually a East German color.
Ah I see, thanks for that info AJ, it seems that as good as Dragon are the instructions sometimes arent up to the mark....
A reminder... That kit is a VERY early Dragon, should expect that much error on their part. You should have seen what I had to suffer through their T-80 ERA, which was the third model they ever produced in 1/35 scale.

Thats very true Emre and they have come along in huge leaps and bounds, but that being said, their instructions still arent perfect or as easy to read as most of Tamiya's for instance.

Now, that's definitely something I will not argue against. However, since the last leaps, I will ultimately choose Dragon over Tamiya. But you have a point, unless you are an advanced modeler or you want a "shake&bake", hitting a Dragon kit head on is not a good idea, better take on a nice Tamiya. (Now that shouldn't sound like I'm a Dragon partisan, I am building a Tamiya kit for this campaign after all)
That being said, we should steer the course back to geese hunting, eh? Now my Nikon D-80 arrived, I hope to take good pictures of my Skfkz 7 with Flak 37, as soon as I figure out the camera

I quite agree Emre, most Tamiya kits do "fall" together very easily while Dragon kits require a little bit of thought.
Absolutely right, I now hand you back to our regular programme...
ps. nice new camera..

I may be in need of a short extension in a worst case scenario.I'm still waiting for my friend to snap the shutter on it.However,he has stumbling blocks such as vacations, kid's youth sports, etc. just like everybody.
If I don't hear from him tomorrow,I'll shoot him a friendly reminder.
cheers for patience!

Unfortunately I will also have to withdraw. The kit I was after never came in, so I have nothing but a guy with a stinger. Great campaign, and great builds from everyone!

I am done and done. Sorry it is not much, but given my crazy work schedule it was the best I could do, with so much time spent out of town on work, away from my workbench.
The model is Tamiya's Flak 38. Later on when I have some more time, I will place it on a truck or something. Who knows, maybe I will build a truck for the upcoming wheels campaign and have a combined campaign build at the end of the year, eh?
Sorry about the quality of the picture. I now have a DSLR camera but it will take time to get used to it. More pictures posted under the campaign gallery.

I just added the first coats of paint and it really looks crappy. I hope I can do anything about it.
Well this is aSwedish Army Klöckner-Deutz with a Bofors AA gun from WW2 in 1/76 scale. The Truck comes from SMA and the gun from Airfix.

Hello Guys,
Here are my pics for the contest:
The good ol' Italeri Opel Maultier with a Flak 38 (20mm) and some figures (mainly from DML)
The vignette is a June '44 scene, near Caen.
