CIRCLES
To make circles you would normally use a compass, drawings, etc, but it will not always provide you with perfect circles. Some pieces that can be made with this step. [IMG] 015 The equipment that you will need; The most important. Safety glasses, Drill, vernier callipers, scribers (homemade). [IMG] 016 With the scriber, we cut the external circle. [IMG] 017 With the vernier callipers used for measuring, you can adjust the external circle using a file or the scriber. You now have a perfect circle. [IMG] 018 If you want to make a hoop, with the scriber you cut the internal circle. You again use the scriber in order to adjust the internal circle. [IMG] 019 You now have ready the hoop. [IMG] 020 Some important considerations in order to avoid the deformation of the plastic .- You must remember that you need to be patient and to have some practice.
- You must maintain the cutting edge of the scriber.
- You must not apply to much pressure on the cutting edge.
- You will need to replace the scriber frequently.

That build blog was one of the absolute most informative sets of posts that I've ever read anywhere! I'm very glad the blog has been captured for posterity in a regular feature article.
Not only is Pedro Andrada an extroidinarly talented model builder, he has a great eye for picking out the most instructive points in his build to share! A rare combination of characteristics. We were all very fortunate that he took the time and effort to document and explain his work so thoroughly!
Thanks again, Pedro!

My deepest thanks again for sharing your work with us Pedro. If you ever wrote a book on this subject I'd buy it for certain.
Hopefully I'll get some time this coming holiday season to try your techniques for myself. Cheers and all the best

Hi Pedro,
You are a master, pure and simple. These two are my favorite from your impressive selection of scratchbuilds, the fact they are 1/72 is crazy.
Best,
Mike
