RIVETS
Although there are a lot of methods, normally, I use one of these two techniques.
Method 1. When I want big rivets aligned. We will put a template with the sites of the rivets.
[IMG] 021
We mark all the rivets.
[IMG] 022
Using the appropriate drill, we will drill all the holes.
[IMG] 023
We put a small piece of plastic stretched in each hole.
[IMG] 024
We cut the waste of the plastic.
[IMG] 025
Using a piece of plastic (0.25 mm, 0.35 mm, etc), we adjust the rivets.
[IMG] 026
With sandpaper we eliminate the rest of the plastic.
[IMG] 027
Method 2. When the rivets are very small.
We mark with a pencil the sites of the rivets.
[IMG] 028
We cut some pieces of a plastic stretched.
[IMG] 029
With a fine brush, we take Tamiya liquid cement.
[IMG] 030
We eliminate the rest of the liquid cement on a paper.
[IMG] 031
We take a rivet with the brush
[IMG] 032
We put the rivet in its site.
[IMG] 033
With a cutter we fix the rivet correctly.

That build blog was one of the absolute most informative sets of posts that I've ever read anywhere! I'm very glad the blog has been captured for posterity in a regular feature article. Not only is Pedro Andrada an extroidinarly talented model builder, he has a great eye for picking out the most instructive points in his build to share! A rare combination of characteristics. We were all very fortunate that he took the time and effort to document and explain his work so thoroughly! Thanks again, Pedro!

My deepest thanks again for sharing your work with us Pedro. If you ever wrote a book on this subject I'd buy it for certain. Hopefully I'll get some time this coming holiday season to try your techniques for myself. Cheers and all the best

Hi Pedro, You are a master, pure and simple. These two are my favorite from your impressive selection of scratchbuilds, the fact they are 1/72 is crazy. Best, Mike
