AWARDS AND MUSEUM INSTALLATION
I was fortunate to have been able to keep the model long enough to enter it into competition prior to mailing it off to be housed at the Fort Stewart Museum. The model was entered at the AMPS-judged NordicCon competition in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Out of 93 armor models entered into this competition, “All Bout Da Bones” received a gold medal as well as the “Best Armor” and “Best US Armor” special awards. I am deeply honored to have been recognized by the judges for the effort that went into this project.

The Fort Stewart Thunder Run display is expected to open sometime in January 2015 following the completed renovation of the Fort Stewart Museum, located not far from Savannah, Georgia. There will be close to 40 expertly-built Abrams, Bradleys, M113s and other vehicles on display, all depicting actual vehicles that took part in the April 2003 Thunder Run. It should be a fantastic installation and I am very fortunate to have been able to contribute to this commemoration project.

Modern stuff is not my usual area of modelling interest, but I too doff my hat to you in recognition of a superbly completed model. True "museum quality" and great that it is going to be displayed there. - Steve
