Hello,

General I would wish more "refreshed" old kits and in this case "Cold War Warriors":
- Challenger I and IIs in an improved version, with a hull which has more Details ans anti-slip-surface (for those which prefer the Tamiya kit)
- A new M60 series
- An M1 Abrams (the "original" with 105mm)
- A new Leopard 1 and 2 series (Leopard 2 in early version in the quality of Tamiya`s a5 and a6)
- Soviet and russian Armour. In an good quality, like Tamiya`s T-55, T-72 further models and version. (Tamiya has only the special East German Hybrid version in program)
- Trucks
- and Artillery

My second point are small conversion kits, for example:
To make a centurion Mk V easily to make III (Turret, stowageboxes,..)

Best regards

It has a South African feel to me. It looks like it would fit in alongside a Ratel pretty well.

Actually, it's a British army vehicle and is deployed with regular Army units in Afganistan: http://www.army.mod.uk/news/operations/2295.aspx

Plastic slat armor instead of photo etch that doesn't cost a fortune.

I'd love to see the promised M-37 Series of 3/4 t trucks and maybe M 715 5/4 as well. Maybe the M34 and M134 2 1/2 as well.. Let's go nuts, how about a whole series of Tractors and cargo trucks and wreckers

This is the only type of slat I've come across not in PE: http://www.militarymodelling.com/news/article.asp?sp=&v=6&uan=1158
Looks good but still pretty expensive. What we need is a maintream produced doing injection molded plastic slat not resin.

So many great suggestions. All would be great to model. I really would like to see a new Saladin (and the rest of that family) done up in plastic to AFV/DML's current standards.

Hello Gaoyue
If you do a plastic slat armor (as seperate item for best), i 'll get 3 to do a few stryker versions.
At this time i just wanted to do the one i have (M1127+ Griffon's photo etch) but now: I'M WAITING a plastic one.
Sadly i'm affraid by the differents sizes between Trumpeter's and AFV's skykers. A Trumpeter slat could not be OK for a AFV stryker

So many to choose from for first time releases or releases of older kits with today's current level of technology:

In 35th scale plastic, I'd like to see:
1. Any of the South African APCs, especially the Buffel...
2. AAVP7 with EEAK (or was it EAAK) --- fingers crossed that Hobby Boss will come out with one, M9 Ace
3. M48 AVLB, M113 Bridgelayer, M42 Duster (still hoping), M113 FSV, M50 Ontos, PACV and Vietnam era Riverine craft, Vietnam era dozer with Rome Plow, LVTE Engineer amtrac, M54 5 tone truck; NVA T54 tank and Type 63 APC
4. Centurion ARV, AVRE or Bridgelayer; Saladin, Saracen, Saxon, Humber Pig; FV-432 series
5. BMP 1 and 2, BTR 60, 70
6. Israeli Achzarit, Puma, Nagmachon, Nakpadon, D9 dozer (s)

That's all for now!

Regards and Aloha,

Johnny B.

T-90, modernized T-72s, and latest Merkavas for me.

I don´t have any confidence in seeing a model of it, but a Pz61/68 would be nice - I dream Trumpeter maybe will make one day-. Also an Alvis Saladin would be good.

Dragon concentrates on German armour as it´s the mainstay of the armour modelling today, with some US modern vehicles -incedentally among the less interesting for me, I supposse I´ve bad luck-. I have more hopes in Trumpeter, AFV Club or Tamiya.

I agree I'd love a T72, T80, T90 done with the same quality as Tamiya's T55

Damn, almost every one of us has asked for a Land Rover, and yet, there's still no Land Rover in sight. It's almost as if someone is deliberately holding back on the Land Rover, just out of spite! Come on, guys, and kick down that Land Rover, which we all want so much. I think Revell produced one years ago, and if they still have the molds it would be easy to put it back into production.
Wiki says that in addition to the British Army, over twenty countries have used the Land Rover. Imagine all the aftermarket upgrades and decals that could be produced and sold to happy modelers, if a new Land Rover kit came out. Oh well, I can dream, right?
By the way, since I'm dreaming, I'd appreciate a Pinzgauer too.

I didn't read thru all of the posts, so forgive me if I double tap something.. What I would really like to see in 1/48 is the modern stuff from Tamiya... Abrams, Bradley, Challenger, T-72, T-55 (Ok not modern, but it would be cool). They have cranked out virtually all of their WWII stuff, now they need to bring on the modern goodies. Other than that, I'm open to whatever hits the streets. "Q"

I should also add some of the mine-protected vehicles that the South Africans used like the Buffel and Casspir.

I agree, awesome vehicle. Along with the Crocodile and the SF cut down unimog. And another 50 Vehicle era riverine and ground vehicles

I would like to see "refreshed" old kits like:
M-48 A3 Patton
M-60 A1/A3 Patton
M-1 with the 105mm gun
Leopard 1and variants
Early Leo2
Diferent versions of the T-70
BMP-1 and 2
The Marder MCIV
The Gepard Flakpanzer
Diferent versions of the Chieftain
The Challenger 1
One can but live in hope.
