Thanks Nico! i have seen your diorama at Chas' blog, it's good! ain't this Gedeo resin the real thing?

Now Glenn, as you know I really love those pics you gave me, but actually that's an idea I already have on that one

of course it's not exactly the same thing: on that diorama I played with the similarities between the steel crosses in cemeteries and ships masts.
maybe one day, i will juts take the idea again and do some new diorama out of it, but then these kind of pics just confirm what I already thought: the weirdest things "happen" already, no need to invent them
thanks for your comment anyhow,a nd i hope to see more progress on your own stuff soon enough

Thanks Rudi as always

Well...it's good stuff, easy to handle...butt it's really expensief for the little you get. And it last only 3 months when its been opened.

Hey...great idea Glenn...go for it Jean.

Another masterpiece! JBA I'm wondering about the processing of your photos. You mentioned that you take three photos and take the shadows from the first one and so on. Do you merge the photos into one; Photoshop option? Did you perhaps wrote on the subject some where else. I frequently visit your website to gather tips and more important to get motivated and I didn't find anything about processing of photos; in detail that is.

it IS expensive, but relatively to the price of a panzer model .. .)
I used a bit more than 1 litter for the galilée, which should have cost me around 50 euros.. and about 15 euros for the rest photoetch included:D

thanks Batjur! Indeed I use Photoshop and have never told about the exact trick I use because I don't want to make any advertising for a software that is scandalously expensive.
But if you want the trick i will tell you privately

Ya see Jean, Nico also thinks those pics. and a small canal/pier/broken bridge thingie were special made for your talents.
Now if I can only get Nico to pester you to build it too ........ l.o.l.
If I have to fly to France and plaster your garden shed with those pics. on a covert mission ........... well you'll know I was there ........... but the point still remains ....... I know , I'll use the Jedi mind trick ............ " this will make an excellent dio , you must start it as your next project ".

Thanks Bill and Glenn, I need the force (see below). But if you are about to come to plaster my garden shed, you'd better stay for dinner -you do Cajun food, I do French one and we have a good bottle of wine!
Maybe one day i will use those as a basis for a new diorama
Primož, good luck with the trick!

Hello Jean, What can I say other than what has already been said by so many others. Your dioramas are dramatic, exteremely well done, and very interesting, to say the least. There have been arguments about whether the things we create while enjoying our hobby can be considered art, or not. I think your work can most definitely be considered art. Each and every piece you create makes the viewer think, not just observe. Congratulations on another work of art. Al

Thanks a lot Al -really about art, like said someone here "it has articitic qualities"

Steve -yes that modelships trick iof the stretched sprue is totally great -yet there is a very tiny relief that is not entirely invisible. I was wondering if I could not use some very thin paper like cigarette paper to create such effects next. Thanks for your comments and I also wait fro your next sculpting work my friend.

I know its redundant but I too am very impressed with your modelling skills, particularly your painting/ weathering talents .
This has got to be the most convincing weather-worn woodwork at 1/35 scale that I've ever seen.
All I can say is grazie, Signore !
