Hello,It wiil be good to get started again,I got a little more work to do on my slight diversion from armor,I did a Hasegawa 1/48 Drakken which came out pretty good. But later this week I will be starting on my Tamiya 1/48 Grief. It looks like a sharp little kit.I will also be looking foward to seeing everyone's work.

I'll join up with a combination of these 2 older kits. Let's see what I can do with them!
The Wurfgerät will be left off ofcourse.

Hello halftrack fans.
I will build this little baby:
This will be my first halftrack so I'm very excited about it. I always liked the Sdkfz. 251 design.
So I hope many of us will use this beauty for the campaign.
Good luck to us all!

I have a few halftracks in the stash and can not decide which one to build. Meanwhile, I'll try to complete my SPIF build and clear the bench, it will be some time before I can begin.
Looking forward to everyone's progress. So far we have some nice kits showing up.

Hi All
Had a few days off work so I've started the monster Kett
Strange kit... no parts on sprues all in bags weird?
It's a big lump
Thats a 1/35 tankie to show the size!!!!
Minimal clean up needed, big parts, goes together like a dream.
Down side ...NO engine but a cast resin gearbox, lots of interior details missing, floor grates, controls, cable conduit to name just a few.
The decals are toilet ,they are stickers like you get in a kids toy ,these have been replaced with a fantastic set from Johns stuff..

Starting the wheels and tracks today
Keep you posted

Hi Andy,
Don't you think it would be better to paint on the markings, instead of using decals? That Kettenkrad is toooo large, you might have problems with decals.

The decals I have are fantastic, and in this scale the paint will have a slight sheen to it so that will eliminate the carrier film.
My main problem is the lack of engine, the kit has a cast resin transmision but this leave a noticeable space where it joins the bellhouse/engine behind the seat
I've been trawling the net for an engine, but no luck at the moment.
I will fill the space with a tunic or something suitable.
Cheers
Andy

Hi Guys
spent the whole day doing these!!! as I've got to work for the next six days not much will be done on the beast,
once again, minimal clean up,no moulding lines on the wheels/tyres,a few on the links most are hidden once assembled.
It took longer to put nicks and cuts in the tyres and tread blocks than it did to assemble them!
The links were a joy to build and hang on the wheels lovely
hope you like

Hello everybody:
I started a very very old Tamiya Sdkfz. 7. The decals are completely ruined since apparently this kit is from the 70's...i will figure out something...hehe...
Anyway, so far some minor scratch work to change some innacurate details on this kit...
Here the mentioned changes..
Mirko
