Hi John,
Thanks for the input. Agree, there's an all round shortage.
Thanks for taking the time to post.

Hi Guys,
Right we are up to 1946 hits, probably time for another picture, but I'd much prefer if you added your support.

Hi Alan,
Thanks for the sticky from Jim, otherwise I would missed this topic! I definitely second the motion, there is a wide open market for the british softskins. (In fact for all the softskins and small armoured cars.) I have that picture of the 15cwt with the Flak too, and the Italeri kit in the box on my shelf, but I always miss the Flak 30 kits (all the new ones are 38).
The Bedford would be a logical decision from the makers, because there is the Italeri Bofors on the market and the AFV has an announced one too, but there are no lorry for them.
One - slightly off topic - question: why was the windshield of the CMP trucks tilted forward? I couldn't figure out the reason for this.

Hi Laszlo,
Glad you joined the call. Can't answer your question of the angle of the window screen, other than a design feature, but perhaps someone who reads this post can.
Well guys over 2000 hits now. If all you folks had signed up I could end this posts lol, lol. We shall take it that unless stated your views are positive rather than negative???
Just to add a bit of colour and interest I highjacked this pis from Jason's recent post of vehicles in ther Canadian War Museum.
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/129452&page=1

Count me in too! I just finished Killing Rommel by Steven Pressfield, so I'm really excited about working on some LRDG trucks. Unfortunately, they're hard to find.

I have just managed to buy the Tamiya LRDG Chevy from a fellow modeller - thank God he didn't know the e-Bay prices. I don't know why Tamiya doesn't re-issue this kit.

Thanks for joining the call. There is a thread running on the same theme for modern vehicles, in particular the Land Rover so here's hoping.
Cheers

For the LRDG Chevys: I have just found this news:
http://www.kitsreview.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=2816
This kit was mentioned nowhere as far as I know, and I'm very glad with it, because for a "tail" car the two possible options were the expensive Model Victoria gun or to cannibalize a Sahariana kit and scratch build the pedestal. This gun was widely used by the British forces in North Africa, it was a very popular captured weapon.

Didn't see the thread on the front page and wanted to keep it up there. Come on manufacturers. See what your customers want. We are lining up ready to buy. This is a golden opportunity. You can make a Tilly, a Mack truck, Australian infantry, and my US artillery pieces (90 mm AA, M1918 155mm, M1A1 105mm) with crews. We would show our gratitude by buying the kits right away.

Hi William,
Thanks for joining the call. More Post war than WW2. There is a similar thread running for Post War Vehicles so you should sign up and support that too. There are a lot of calls for a LR, not suprisingly
This one is for WW2 British Made Trucks but your support is very welcome.

There are lots and lots of ugly British pre-WWII and WWII trucks.
Anything at all would be appreciated and there are preserved vehicles
to get data from .....

Hi Robin,
Yes, ugly is one word to describe them, beautifully ugly might be another. They give a really good refelection of the design thinking of the period both pre and post war.
Thanks for signing up, support much appreciated.
