Claude, as always, amazing work! I admire your patience with those stones (and also the roof tiles earlier), don't think I could keep at it that long.
Cheers!

No!
Seriously, there is one located near the Railwaystation, it's pretty small and has a small assortiment of plastic model kits. It's a nice mix of brands, but only 3-4 meters of wall and of course with Luxembourg level prices (should be the same level as in CH, high! )
The rest is Diecast and RC-cars.
It has one big advantage, it sells my book!
Thanks all for the comment!
I'm just back from another root-hunt during my breakfast break, so you can call me crazy again! You do it anyway ! LOL

Yo Claude,
I can believe that you didn't post in a month! What a work on the street...and a great work. May I ask how thick the cork is?
I stay tuned.

Justen, Nico,
Thanks guys
Nico, the cork is 3 mm thick. I cut it also in 3x7 mm pieces.
I will not count them this time, but it will certainly be around 3000 pieces again like last time.

Hi Cladue,
Apologies, it's been a while since I dropped in to see the progress, Looking terrific as before, I wonder where you get the patience from for all the individual bricks and tiles
Great to have some space to work in. The gate turned out really well and the whole street front is starting to come together.
Terrific work.
Al - some cyber beers to keep you going.

This is amazing, trully incredible work. I cant believe you use high density blue foam for your buildings. I have a ton of that stuff left over from my times at University.
I think you have inspired me to try my own building.
Thanks very much
Cheers Damian.

Claude I apologise for not popping in sooner
Once again superb work and do you plan to make a forest with all of those twigs in your hobby room? .
I plan to be at Euromilitare this year so I look forward to seeing this in the flesh and meeting yourself.

Hi Jaymes,
Thanks for taking the time.
From all those twigs i am doing a selection to do 1 weeping willow.
I am trying to build a big and visually convincing tree, as most weeping willows i saw until now in scale are IMO problematic regarding the hanging twigs. It will be prominently displayed, so it should be good.
Of course i am using the rest and all i am assembling to do the forest above the river Clervaux (no kidding) . They can be used for hanging birch trees or all other treess. But i am not falling for the trap of using the roots at all costs. A tree looking like a root is not good IMO, so i will throw away everything not suitable.
Looking forward to meet you in Folkestone
(let me say my presence is more then probable, i am tentatively invited, the official invitation is not in yet)

No thing Tom. I ordered one from Claude's website. When I clicked the link I got a "page not found" and a list of all manner of links with the name "perdu" and "monroe". I don't know why the occasional link will behave like that. I have had this happen before with distributors of modeling books. Many are limited run and when what was allocated is sold, that's it! The last two military vehicle reference books I had to order from the country the author published them in because the US distributors either wouldn't respond or the link was dead. I assumed this was more of the same. Anyway, thanks for responding! - Jim

Hi Jim,
I can guaratee that this is not the case with Monroeperdue. The link works fine (at least under Firefox), the seller also has some books. This was a mysterious error.
As soon as i know that a reseller does not stock anymore, i delete the banner (it's the case for the french Blast). Sold out , but are not restocking. Sadely for me.
I shipped your book on Friday. Normally (my last experiences) , it could be with you in about 1 week, but, you probably saw the news, no flight is leaving Europe for the moment because of the volcano ashes, so this may cause a bit of delay.
Have a nice Sunday

Gday Claude
Some very concise cobblestone work there mon ami...
The park section adds a good lower level interest across the street, and the circular pattern both adds some *pop* whilst also blending in with the rest nicely... Good luck with the forest too; shoud provide a great contrast to the buildings...
Hey I'm reading a book on the Ardennes offensive and there a rw a couple of chapters on the defenders of Clervaux. Your work here makes the read all the more interesting...
