Every time I look here there’s more great ideas!

Benjamin – nice concept sketch and yes, the mounts for the motors do look to small, I’ll need to beef them up.

Jeremy – I’m thinking this will be several different colors / camo’s, to reflect something cobbled together out of spares and other damaged vehicles. This also follows my back story about end of civilization / society (going to be similar to late WW2 German equipment).

I’m might expand my dio w/ a destroyed mech that’s fallen into a damaged building. Don’t want to bite off too much, I would actually like to finish something - LOL.

Well you do have a full year to build whatever comes to mind, so I think you can pull it off Tom. Would it be a full scratch mech or would you use something as a base kit?

jtucker: That's what campaigns are for!

Chad: No worries, just make sure you have a backstory to whatever your final project ends up being

Duncan: You mean like this?

I have an E-10 in the stash, but I also have a ZTZ-96 I just reviewed. Thinking PLA forces of peacekeeping occupation, or UN, somewhere in the redrock country of Utah/Arizona, or headed east on I-15 out of Vegas. Maybe "liberated" by patriot forces. It is the base kit, so I can free hand some add on armor modules. Post economic collapse, president (no specified) calls for outside help to "stabilize" the situation.

Sounds like someone has been playing Homefront. Original idea: curious to see what this will look like..

jtucker: LOL, not at all! Nothing in the rules for this campaign that prevent you from opening the box and basking in the glory of a newly acquired kit

Gary: I have an idea, but my laptop crashed so I need to get all of my programs up and running again.

If anybody else has an idea for a ribbon, by all means feel free to post it here

Now I'm basking and posting a ribbon:

Just an idea, no harm done if a better one comes along!
Now back to just basking...

Not bad Sean! But I can't really tell what I'm looking at other than a little green AFV?

Yeah, not good . It really is hard to get any detail into a 50x20 gif. My idea was an AFV on a blueprint, but clearly I didn't accomplish that. I'll go back to creating in styrene.

Aha, all you need to do then is extract the black lines from the tank, change them to white, and drop them back on the blue background. You may want to tone the blue down when you do that though. It is certainly tricky to come out with a good ribbon when restricted to such a small canvas

Sean,
A blueprint! Brilliant idea! Here is my edit of your ribbon design.

You can use this a start to play around with the tank shape and the background color.
