Unfortunately, you can not order from Gamla, as their store is under construction and they list no distributors. I have contacted the site and am awaiting a response from them.

I guess I should have looked through the thread first to refresh my memory. We found Gamla on page 1. Oh well, keeping fingers crossed. I emailed them and tried calling. No reply yet.

I wonder what the price is. Most of those custom models do not come cheap. However, I could be wrong.

Hi all,

I tried to get one from Gamla last year but they were a limited run and had sold out! Also it is not a kitset which was OK for what I wanted but would rather have one I can build myself. Fingers crossed on this one!!

Best regards

Rereading the first page and having visited the site, this seems to be more of a collector's item. No fun if it comes preassembled.

Can anyone provide the diameter of the wheels or length of the barrel? I have several photos, but can find no specific measurement other than that of the caliber. I'm really going to set myself to building this one, after I finish a couple of campaigns.

A little help...

Based on the size of the cannon, 155mm / 39 caliber, the barrel length from the breech to the end of the solid barrel (before the muzzle brake) is 6045mm, or 19.83 feet.

The issue with the M777 is that it is so new. Unless you have direct access to one or are assigned to an M777 unit, most haven't seen one up close. That is why info is sparse on it.

The tires are 245 x 70 x 19.5.

You'll have to figure out the 1/35 size from there.

None. I'm hoping that, if I can build a master, it will be picked up.

Maybe there's a local Artillery unit that will have an open house/Armed Forces Day with one on display? If you're thinking about a master you'll need a ton of reference photos.

Ah, guys. . .
not to say I told you so but,
I posted that same info last December. . .
here is my e-mail with him last year

:
James,
Thank you for your interest. You are right, our model is the only one. The cost per replica, assembled and painted, is $320. We are not really manufacturing it in quantities for collectors, just a handful of copies for the companies and the army, therefore the price is a little high. If you are willing to purchase one, I can add one more copy to the current batch.

Lifeinscale.com is no longer associating with Gamla Model Makers!
Effective July 2011 our domain name is lifeinscale.net. Please, update you records.

None of the current manufacturers are willing to share the measurements. Therefore, I will be contacting BAE directly.

As an artillery lover I would totally want to see an M777. While they are at it a styrene M119 too. Soooo...as soon as you finish the scratch build then it will come.

Between AFV and Bronco this has been a big year for US artillery. Hopefully next year will be better.....hopefully soon

OK you dropped a new one in my lap. What's an M119? I'd like to see somebody like Dragon do the M110 and M107 to be followed by the M109 series. Of course we still can't get anybody to make an M56 Scorpion in 1/35th scale

The M119 is a light weight 105mm towed howitzer designed and built in the uk and used by the brits, the aussies and the us army

Hi guys had a very close encounter with the Triple 7 this weekend and fell in love with it immediatly. I noticed that there a several TM of the gun are availble on the net but was unable to download them. Do I need to be in the Army to do it?
I have proposed this to my favorite Chinese company about this project but no answer ´til today. So any drawings or blueprints would be helpful.

Love to hear your oppinions

I have searched to the ends of Yahoo, Ask, Google and Bing with no result. I have tons of photos I can send you and the measurement of the barrel length. I have even contacted BAE Systems, with no reply. I will be sending them another letter, today. I have also contacted both companies that produce scales replicas of the trip 7, with no luck. All I need are scale drawings, presented in a head on style.
