Hi Steph,
thanks for compliment

, and you are not the only one
who´s looking forward to seeing how this is going to end

.
Until now I have only tried/made two dioramas and that in 20 years of modelling, only if you wish will I show these.
Cheers Paul

Wow some really great work, I think I'm being too picky or something or just old and slow....
Started on the USS Fubar; LVT(A)4

Hull done:

And inside drivers compartment completed. Had to do this since the two hatches are open.

I already added the two bilge pump outlets, after painting and closing it up I have to start scratching the extra hatches and antenna pots.

O.k. Steph I´ll take that as a yes.
Hope I don´t get into trouble for abusing Sals thread
No.1 from 2002
Sdkfz 222 and Panzer 4 D both from Tamiya and both with
scratch built interiors.

No. 2 from 2009
Panther D from ICM with Panther G tracks from Tam. The idea came from an end of war foto showing a Panther in this cconfiguration

Hi everyone
@Paul(1721Lancers)- many apologies. At a glance, I thought it was a Panther but obviously I need my eyes checked and brain scanned

. Nice dioramas
@Steph(steph2102)- nice progress on the build
@Robert(BobCard)- looking forward to see your build of the LVT
Here are my progress on the LVTP5
Earth and black washed

Detail painting, decals placement and matt varnished

I have to say that this is by far the quickest I've ever done on any model (neither highlights nor drybrushing)

. The final part of chipping and weathering will be done once all the elements are put together. Moving swiftly to the Santa's sleigh build

Hi everyone, looking great.
I seem to be falling behind but things are moving along nicely.
Finished the scratching on the USS Fubar, turret cover and hatches, the hatch in front of the turret and the 4 additional antenna pots;

Just have everything sitting there and not glued together yet.

Paul,
That black and white camo is really wild. The design is well executed.
Thanks for sharing.

I just hope we see some more getting done in here

And when is Pt. 3 coming

In the mean time I´ve found one or two more pics I could try. One of them is a sepia shot, now that would be a challenge
