hi guys!
After a time away from the hobby, I'm coming. As was posted earlier in the topic: "Auschwitz Gate - Doubt? " I'm opening this, now with the assembly sequence.
About four years ago, I started doing a diorama of the gate of the famous concentration camp. Just a fact to portray what happened in history. This field is Auschwitz gate C.
After some discussion with the staff, I decided to continue, but will show the arrival of the Russians liberating the camp.
I use these kits below to compose the scene.
If you have any suggestions, please share.
Regards to all
This kit will use the wagon with the horses and make adjustments with the Russian infantry

I did the application of "tiles" using double-sided tape and then a general application of glue diluted with a brush.

For this small part of the gate, I had to make about 8 meters of barbed wire. Afffff....this is crazy .... torture!!!

Rodrigo, it is looking very good so far what are you using for the fence post and what are those little pieces of wood that you are use to attach the barbed wire and yes making 8 meters of that wire would drive anybody nuts, looking forward to seeing more

Rodrigo, ..............what are those little pieces of wood that you are use to attach the barbed wire ...
Sal,Paul and Julien Thanks!!
Well, these pieces of wood are toothpicks. I sculpt, leaving it thin.
No! I do not intend to put camp residents or "survivors."
In fact I intend to portray the arrival of a group of Russian soldiers arriving in the country, bringing potatoes, water and other things, perhaps embracing a woman.
On the afternoon of Saturday 27 January 1945, the Red Army liberated Auschwitz, the largest and most terrible Nazi extermination camp.
the place was covered with snow and cost more to get 231 Russian lives to expel the Nazis.

Hi Rodrigo,
Very impressive work you are doing, but more impressive when I see the pictures you are using as a reference.
Keep going, I follow you.

Hi, Victor and Greg ...
Thank you. I'm trying to be as faithful as possible, but as never been there and my references are just a few pictures ... is known as ....
Based on pictures with people and an estimated height, I was creating a scale for each picture and transferring to the diorama ... was a little tricky, but very close to reality, considering that was never there for these measures ...

Rodrigo- this is a very emotive and powerful scene in the making, you have some real skill as evidenced by the excellent building work so far. It all looks to be coming together very well- best of luck with it!

Rodrigo: very nice work indeed. I also support your decision to show the Russians liberating the camp. I will follow this. Good luck on the barbed wire, and remember to look at something else every so often.

Thanks Zontar.
Well, now I think is the hardest part.
I made this diorama in court and could not reference any photos. Then I improvised .... I put some filing cabinets and a few more things office. See the photos.
Here is the tree
Now I'm mounting the figures (Russian soldiers), the wagon and horses.

Hey Edo!
Subject actually very delicate!
But before continuing with this project, I did a search with friends here.
Initially the idea was different, but this is a touchy subject.
With this in mind (and with the help of friends here) I decided to do differently, showing the entrance to the Red Army in the field carrying groceries in a cart, and all this in the snow, because it takes place in January. January 27, 1945.
Brandi, great to see you here again!
Thank you and I also want to see this project completed. I'm looking forward to it.
Big hug and thanks

Gelson Dear friend, good to see you here too.
Thanks,
I will soon be opening this post also in the "PM". I still feel a little afraid to post about it there, for the first time that I began to ride it (4 years ago), I posted a forum and a jotage (which also participates in the "PM"), and he was very much against, abhorred.
Anyway, let's go. Here things flow much better.

Well, here some more progress.
I got a set of figures Miniart, but I personally found this set very bad. Much Burr injection and figures with little detail, especially in the faces and caps.
I found strange, because I got other set of figures Miniart I found good and well defined, but I think it's because they are new, so it's a new mold. Anyway, the figures are already assembled and soon I'll post here.
Figures from Alpine and Verlinden, has a quality in stunning detail.
Here's the pictures, though only time I have left to paint only one still left to do washing and dry brush.
Sorry for the bad quality of my photos.
