Jerry,
Do You carved most of the figures?
Is to be congratulated loved the idea of using cotton for the hair and also how the tulle used to involve the helmet. I also do the same, because the original detailing of the kit seems bad.
His progress is perfect. I will definitely continue to follow this work.

Hugs,
Rodrigo Sartori

Rod,
Thanks for looking in and for your nice comments. I did do a lot of sculpting on these but not all of it. You will have to go back through the whole thing to figure it out I'm afraid.
Thanks!

Nice job on the Scotsman Jerry- the uniform and webbing really look spot-on.

Thanks Karl,
I have to rely on you guys from the UK and free Ireland to keep me straight on the kit as I have little if any refs on the matter.
I think 2 more figgies and I am done with this deal.

Thanks buddy. Yes,the insignia is a paint job done in spite of my suffering eyes. Scotsman of course from the Glasgow HL.
The fig started as one of the dudes in the Dragon Brit Inf in Normandy. Just added a scratched camera and mussette bag strap plus modified Hornet hands. Glad you like it buddy!

As an example, here is a figure I am starting using the armature method. He is loading ammo into a wing of a P-51. I think my method is a lot faster than this.

Thanks man, just keep going. I showed my girlfriend a fig I did about 20 years ago last night and we both laughed! Picasso didn't start masterpieces straight out of the womb!

Karl,
This was brass wire and I used a smaller gauge on the left arm because the original thicker wire broke from too much bending.
I took the measurments from a Historex fig, which is 1/32 scale and a little bigger than the usual Dragon figs,as the P-51 is in 1/32.

Yes,the ground work comes next. I am not too good at that so it may take a while. I also have some other projects going on at the same time.
