Sal .. That is the model which made Jeff and me come up with this campaign cause Jeff wouldn't allow it in his STuG campaign which in turn was a brilliant decision on his part

For me tomorrow is start day ..tomorrow the 25th here but like alot of you guys are going to be exactly like me ..aint gonna happen ,,hospital tomorrow for me but its not for me which i aint complaining about at all

Sal .. Ya it aint a STuG ..i got my wires crossed with the Jagdpanzer IV ,,thats official name is Sturmgeschütz neuer Art mit 7.5 cm Pak L/48 auf Fahrgestell PzKpfw IV.
,oh well poop happens

I am taking my best mates mum to hospital for her check up and shes doing damn well now considering she had 11 tumors in her and one monster one in her brain , damn she is in amazing shape now and the treatment worked a treat.

I am now looking forward to building my Panzer IV/L70 Alkett now too .

@ Sal that is a very cool looking ugly duckling be good to see how it comes up

@ Jeff I noticed & I am sure your fantasticlty acidic idea of a do it yourself at home campaign so that no rules, ideas or transfering of ideas & info can be done would take off. I am glad to see that I am not the only person in the world who wonders if some people climb the stupid tree a lot.

@Phil hope all goes well with your mates mum & she is doing really well to battle so many tumors, all the best

Cheers Mike

I feel sorry for ya Jeff .. having to lay down the law all the time it seems would annoy the hell out of me ..hope you dont have to suffer any longer bud .

Yeah, this is shaping up to being an awesome show here as this Campaign will be fun for me as BOTH have a nicely detailed interior in the fighting compartment AND painting by hand will be required!

Our bud Gary has inspired me to do some detailing as he is pretty much the master at it with his past work, like on the 225.

BTW, is he signed up here? Nope, I guess not but there are 58 Heavy Metal Tankers here and it will be a lot of fun!

Hi there,
thank you know who for that, the only problem I now have is
I have chnaged my mind and no longer no what to build.
The choices are:
M18,Hetzer Starr, Jagdpanther in braille scale or ...
risk waiting until the end of August when a very large
mother of all tank destroyers is supposed to arrive.

Well I hoping to start my build later tonight, got a few things around the house that need to be done first. I just got in the mail about 30 minutes ago trumpeter's IT-1 missile tank.

Hadn't even had time to open up the package yet. I was orignally going to build the SU-152, but changed my mind to something different and fun to build.

Cheers

Hi Christopher,
cool kit,I´ve looked at it 3 times in the local model shop.
But obviously I´ve been hit by the Jeff-itis, and just cannot
make my mind up.

Watch it Paul, Jeff-itis is highly contagious...

After working on the Blitz Campaign, and doing a few more links for the Panther F... I started this one, my first build the Emil.

Box & Gun Mtal barrel

First page of instructions

For those of you who plan to get doing the Emil, first glue the A13 part to the lower full and then add B39/38 it's much easier.
Also the A6 part is on the wrong slot/hole on the instructions, it's the one just below. Step 2 shows the right one.

Gonna get back to the Blitz Campaign.

Starter Pictures. Not sure if you can make out the date on the paper but you'll see a nod to George Jefferson in the top lefthand corner. Anyway, I'm not sure when I will actually start building though.

Oh, poor Jeff Tucker. Making fun of that poor man again I tell ya.

It's a good thing he has a sense of humor because I couldn't take all that if it were about me!

I was able to get in the scoring column:

Some comments about the kit,it is a very well egineered kit so far,I would recommend it as Dragon starter kit as there are not a great amount of pieces and construction is pretty straightforward.Of course it is similar layout to their T-34/85 which I did a few years ago.I like the damaged fenders and fuel tanks on this one,and the nice amount of PE that I can handle. Also you don't have to drill out the plastic motor cover to use the PE grate on the rear like their old T-34's.The T-34 variants are probably the best also for learning Magic Tracks.

So far some interesting choices everyone is starting with. Good luck and have fun everyone.

Phill, I don’t think I have seen anyone build the new jagdpanzer yet. I figured it would be bigger than that, not much larger than the stug.

Well I’ve finally manage to open up the package that came in the mail today and have to say the IT-1 is a pretty nice kit. The kit comes with no markings at all, so I will have to get creative with the paint job.

I’ve set my other T-62 just for comparison, by the way, this is my 5th T-62 from trumpeter.

Cheers
