  I wanted to make a dio on to stage, but I do not have enough time before the end of the campaign, so I will say it is finished. Paul thank you for this campaign.

Hi there, like John says there is only 5 days left.
That isn't very long, so if anyone needs more time say it now,
or remain silent forever
You could go over to the "get r done" with your unfinished builds, but that would be a shame as the builds should be in this gallery

Gasp!

Procrastination has grabbed firmly a-hold of me!

I better grab the remaining bits of the ol' BT-42 and get things finished!

Bob is that another way of saying, "I fell asleep in the big comfy armchair in front of the log fire ".

Am I really that transparent, Paul? Sleeping in front of the fire (heck, right down on the floor along with the cats!) was so so "last week" (when things were colder down here in the deep south)! I'm all better and more alert and stuff now (and the cats so disturbed at being roughed up a bit). Really! Honest!

Paul;

Thanks for asking! I expect to get those bits done up tonite and tomorrow and throw dust around and call BT done.

Down to the ol' wire! I'm thinking real hard about changing my login name to ProcrastiBob01!

I've been slowly working away at the B1 bis. The construction went very smoothly.

The RB barrels fit well, with just the 75mm gun requiring minor surgery to attach.

I went with a tri-color camouflage, using Vallejo Model air colors. I don't have a good handle on air brushing and the fast drying acrylic paint only exacerbated matters, I had a fair amount of over-spray. I ended up with thicker bands of color than I would have liked.

I then covered her with a layer of future, added decals, which were pretty thick, another layer of future. Then an oil wash, a light flat coat and finally my first attempt at an oil dot filter. Sadly I did not get a photo between the wash and the filter.
The final product (with it's silvered balkenkreuz of ineptitude )

Hi there,

well then that's it, my second campaign as campaign leader is over .

Thank you to all who signed up and got the job done , there are some nice builds in the gallery and no doubt they will be of some inspiration for others who wish to go down this road.

A special thanks goes out to Bruce Miller, who had some cool ideas and put in some fantastic information from his little
private library

Well I'd guess that there are 4 people who are very close to finishing I have PM'd you all to wake you up. I'll ask John (Nito74) to keep the gallery open until
Thursday for the stragglers.
All the other players who past the finish post, should have their shiny new awards by now

That's all till next time, thanks.

Paul;

Well I almost made it! I was "on-track" for "in just by the bell"! But, trying to hustle along last night with those final bits led to a catastrophe as the BT went to the tile floor. Styrene panzers don't take falls well. (But, I would bet a real BT-42 dropped a couple hundred feet onto a cement field would suffer some serious dings, too! ) So I have some repairs and touch-up to do...

I'll try to wrap it up and take the final pics and get them into the gallery tonite or tomorrow, time allowing.

To all who completed: Lots of cool builds and neat ideas! It was a great campaign with fine leadership and needs another go sometime relatively soon!

HeyPaul,
Thanks for ribbon #95
This was an enjoyable campaign where I was able to build something that I had wanted to do for a while, I tried some new methods and although my results weren't the greatest t was a learning experience
Thanks for running this one and I'll see you on the campaign trail
