Here's a pic of both filters on a piece of paper

On the left side is the Brown Filter on the right side the TAN filter.
They tend to dissolve pretty quicky on paper, but then again we can add several layers over the kit.

@BBD468 - Gary,

This is turning out to be quit an impressive build. Excellent SBS on how you achieved the multi-colored camouflage scheme. I was seriously thinking on using the toothpaste method to get a similar result on the camouflage scheme on the 72nd scale IJA Type 4 ‘Ne-Nu’. But after seeing your SBS and how well it came out with paintbrushes I may go that way instead, I won’t need to think on that for a while, just hope that the "Force'ola" is with me when I go and attempt it on my tiny model. Any size paint brush in this scale on the kit I’m talking about would be huge!

Thanks Eddy and Phil! Its great to have my bro's along for the ride.

Got the gloss decals and most of the pin wash done. When the decals dry ill seal them, touchup pin wash and then flat coat.

Thanks for following fellas!

@BBD468 – Gary,

The camouflage together with the decals looks sharp! You even added the camouflage to the lower hull sides, that is one cool paint job.

What the heck . . . are those a set of colored lamps on the rear hull? Are you trying to turn this into a UFO or what? So tell us, how did you go about painting the lamps to get them to look like real lamps?

@asmodeuss – Philippe,

I think that I’m going to have to use the ‘Force’ to shrink down in size or enlarge the Braille build to get that kind of result on the camouflage scheme but I will give it my best shot!

Sweet paint job Brother Boggs! Once again youre nailing it spot on. Is this one gonna have lots of weathering?
@ Eddy:
I would love to see what you could do with 1/35 scale....I'm sure it would be a walk in the park compared to braille!

Hey fellas,

Eddy - UFO is what i was goin' for - looks like it worked out! Actually its just Vallejo paint with future gloss over them...thats it! Easy greasy bro!

Phil - Its not gonna have too much weathering in the way of chips and pigments and dirt. This is Kyles kit and im building it to his taste. Were it mine i would take it a little farther.

Zaidi - Thanks for the kind words man!

I have sealed the decals this morning and will flat coat tomorrow. Thanks for looking fellas!
