Nice choice! Built a couple in that line, and the kits seem to be as tough as the real vehicles. Only thing I wasn't real happy with was the axles.... I would have liked to have turned the wheels, but just couldn't get past the metal axles.
Will be watching to see how yours progresses.....

One more time..... (I have screwed this up twice so far)
This is the kit I have decided to build instead of the LAV (sorry Mark)....
and the time stamp....
This little hauler has been seen working with the UN in Africa, as well as doing disaster relief in the Home Islands. Have had a thing for it since before the kit was issued... so it has been on my list for a while.
It is 72nd scale and I normally build 35th scale so it will be something different. My wife's comment was that it was a good thing we had gotten me new glasses recently.... not sure it will be enough, but we will see.

OK, giving up. Can't figure out your image posting so I'm going to have to withdraw from the campaign....I'm sure Armorama could make it EVEN MORE complicated if they really tried. The image is in my kitmaker gallery but hell knows how you are supposed to attach it to a post. Sorcery perhaps? Dark Arts?

Do you have an outside image account? I use Imgur for mine, and it gives me the code to include. However, I am sure that someone around here can help you with the Dark Arts...

If you find your image in the galleries and do a right click you get an option to copy the address. The one for the Me109 shown is above. You have to put that between the
It has to replace all the stuff that is between when you click the button...

It's actually pretty simple once you know how:
1. Open the photo you want to post. I like to open my gallery in a separate tab so I can switch between my gallery and my forum post--helps a lot when trying to post multiple photos.
2. Below your photo is a line that says "Linked Thumbnail" followed by an HTML link. Click the icon after that HTML link.
3. A new line will appear with some BBCode in it. Click on the BBCode, which will highlight the entire thing.
4. Hit CTRL+C to copy the text.
5. Once you start typing your post, simply hit CTRL+V to paste the code where you want the photo to appear.
6. Crack open a brew to celebrate a job well done!

alright guys!!!!! we have some great subjects already, and we already have the campaign ribbon made! I can't wait to see all the builds and see all the awesome subjects!!!!!!

@Steven: Glad you made this work. It would have been a real shame not to have this one in the GB. That camo on the box is a beauty! Are you going for that one in your build?

@Cristian: Is a different vehicle to be sure. However, when I was researching it a couple years ago I found that the company that makes it, Morooka, makes commercial versions that are sold all over the world. One of the few vehicles that "rubber band" tracks are appropriate for.
Hope that going small isn't beyond my fat fingers, but the worst I can do is mess it up.

One of the paint options is the three colour late war scheme and that is what I am aiming for. Our model club had a 'buildathon' next weekend and I plan to make a start on it then.

@Steve.... I remember club meetings. Out in the middle of nowhere I think I am the only modeler around.
Which is why I am here to bug you guys.....Speaking of which.... In a lot of the photos I take I put a coin as a scale marker. I share photos with some non-modelers and it helps them get a sense of scale. The one for this build is a 1 Yen piece from just after WWII.
The first thing I did was go insane.... I replaced the crew step on one side. Not a big deal in 35th scale, a bit more challenging in 72nd.
In the upper view the green block is the plank that the step is replacing. Material is a bit large but it doesn't look that bad, at least I think so. Now for the other side....

Joined up. Also coming in with a Fine molds kit.
Type III "Honi-III". This one is a first production kit and came with a nice little extra. My kit included a nice little brass spent casing and brass 75mm round.

I just found this campaign and would like to join. I have been to the so called LHS and to the two online shops that I would purchase from, but no Japanese armor. Plenty of aircraft. Does anyone have another online option?
