Trying not to go out on a limb here by having too many Campaigns, but is there any interest in some siege warfare building?
Here's the Gallery: https://gallery.kitmaker.net/showgallery.php/cat/29614
I know there have been several new kits out like Meng's Panzerhaubitze 2000, MiniArt has the ZIS-3 GUN Emplacement and Takom has the Skoda 30.5cm M1916 Siege Howitzer... these and the "Karl" and "Loki" and of course the Dora and Leopard guns could make an interesting subject.
This must be one of those that will need at least a year (or longer) due to some of the complexity of the kits. I have a few I've been wanting to get or build and I would be open for really opening it up with self-propelled pieces like the M110 and mobile artillery from ANY war.
"So pretty much anything that is indirect fire, as opposed to direct fire (tanks, TDs, etc.)." ~ Thanks to Mark (AKA Namabiiru)

I might be in. I had to bow out of the Big Guns Campaign and the Rocket one never took off (hehe). Anyway, I just have to see how the old schedule lines up.
What's the minimum gun size? Since siege weapons are noted, does that include rocket firing systems like the Katyusha and Sturmtiger? I wouldn't mind taking a swing at that rocket launcher kit you were working on for the Truck Campaign.

Jeff,
When You say rail guns are we talking a limit on the bore sixe or would this be acceptable
As for a Howitzer I have this currently in the stash Soviet Army B-4 Howitzer
I was gonna use it for the Big Guns Campaign but as Alex says when the Rocket one never took off I used my Strumtiger for that one
So if those options are good I would be in

Hi Jeff,
I have the 8inch howitzer to build and I like the look of the new Takom Skoda. Depending on when you want to start I'd be interested but I have the Great War campaign to finish first.
Cheers
Al

No limits on gun size, origin or application. Just make sure it's an un-started kit and we should have a wide assortment of weapons!
As far as a start time, I think John will say after December I'm sure. You guys decide how long you want it but one year may be too long.
Self-propelled howitzers, guns etc. Sturmtigers, Brumbars, artillery pieces... tow behinds or rail guns. As long as it's not classified as a combat tank.
Did I miss anything? So we have four interested... we have time!

Thanks Jeff and count me in. Start date doesn't matter to me since it's a year long. Not really sure what I'll do but it'll probably leave a big crater or craters.

How about trench mortars or mortars in general?

Yes, static and mounted mortars PLUS siege howitzers!
And Alex, I don't know about a year but we'll see. Up to John.

Hi Jeff,
Would leftover parts be OK? The reason I ask is that when I built the 9.45 trench mortar for my Somme dio I ended up getting a new kit to alter the barrel to the earlier Mk I version. That means I have the base to build as a new kit and I was going to use the original Mk II barrel with the new base as a stand alone display. If that's OK I'll get some new bombs cast to go with it.
Cheers

Hey Jeff, you can count me in I'm good with the December time frame, gives us plenty of time to decide what to build plus for newer kits to hit the market.

Jeff you never gave the yes or no towards ground to ground missile systems like the MLRS, MARS, or the TOS-1 types. I wouldn't mind trying my hand at building a FROG or Lance missile.

Oh, I'm sorry I missed that. To be honest, let me sleep on it over the weekend. I really wanted it to be shell fired weapons and not missiles. I hate to turn anyone down but from the looks of it looks like not many are buying in.
But we'll see.

Sure no problem, Alex asked earlier and figure it wouldn't hurt to ask again. Give it time, after all it's the summer and most people are probably away from their computers. Some my be like me and burnt out on campaigns right now. I just drop from the ones I'm currently in and build just for me to have some fun. I'm currently building a Russian oil drilling platform using a MT-LBu.

Oh yeah... I sort of answered that. A Sturmtiger would be okay...?

I appreciate everyone stopping by and joining in.
Looks like we have maybe 8 but I would like to see another 2 or 3 more so we can get this submitted and then look forward to a pretty sweet Campaign for later this year or at the first of 2015.
Anyone else? Here's a chance to use that static gun kit or self-propelled howitzer, rail gun kits, etc.

Okay! Cool ~ GREAT! Thanks guys!
I'll work on the proposal and send it in. I am definitely going to build either the "Karl" or the "Loki" in 1/35th... or both since I have them. Need to get tracks for them though.

I was thinking of maybe going with this for my build.
I already have a Type 63 in my stash of kits, just need to wait for Trumpeter to release their M-30 122mm Howitzer.
