The widening & lengthening should be pretty straight-forward work. Basically a cut down the centerline of two Tamiya T34s. Trim off the front of one and the rear of the other so they'll connect to make a lenthened T34. For the width add a styrene spacer to the chassis bottom. The upper hull will require a revised engine deck and placements for the turrets.
I'm still not certain if I'll do it or go with the British Stuart Marder instead. The Stuart is a holdover from the last What-If Campaign so I might do it instead.

We're in the middle of a heat wave here at the moment so I'm staying indoors and have been able to get some good workbench time. I like the what-if stuff and build a lot of them. So when we have a campaign going I tend to post multiple submissions.

This is a great campaign! A lot of fun to participate and so much cool stuff out of the ordinary. I am playing with the thought of a second build for this campaign if Time allows.

I had a little time last night, re-did the spare tracks on the turret, added the commander's Mg, and started the headlight lenses.

Looks nice, Russell. Interesting how a few track links on the turret really changes the look of the tank by disrupting the sleak lines and adding a different color.

True. A little visual variety can be a good thing.

It looks good. I'm not too sure that I'll have the needed parts for my build until September but if I can then I've now been thinking of doing a allied copy of the Brummbar based on the Sexton/Priest.

Right, my next What If.

What if the Swedes decided to use the old STRV-103 "S-Tank" as a recce vehicle after coming out of service?

So this is the Trumpeter STRV-103B stretched a little more than a foot, with the main gun and systems removed, a small dismount/ recce operator station added in it's place and the new Live Resin Remote Weapon Station added for self defence.

As you can see I've got the hull mostly sorted and the RWS built. I still need to install the suspension, the crew door and then scratchbuild the raise-able electronic recce pod right behind the driver and commander.

Will post more as the work progresses...

Finally calling the build done and ready to paint.

After a few months away on a business trip, I am finally back in the game. I had planned on a more elaborate build for this campaign, however, I decided to go with an E-75 hull mated with a recycled King Tiger turret. There will be a sharp contrast in the weathering for the two parts, and the different camo scheme should help reinforce the notion that this was a last ditch attempt by Germany to field one more tank. I just applied a filter, and will begin weathering shortly.

Love the camo, Shawn! Looking forward to see more.

Pity I didn't see this campaign earlier. Would have loved to have joined in with the Meng A39 Tortoise in some sort of fictional 1946 scenario. Maybe next time this campaign comes around I'll enter it.

The RWS looks good.

You've got an upside down loader's hatch on the commander's cupola and you've put the commander's hatch on the loader's hatch ring. Was this on purpose to clear the RWS?

On the Leopard 2A7+, which also mounts an RWS, the loader's hatch was modified so that it opens to the front of the turret instead of to the rear. May this is an option for you before you start painting.

Looks awesome, Joe! Are there a road wheel missing or is it an intentional gap between 8 and 9 road wheel? Sort of like a T-55 gap?

Looking forward to see more pictures of this beast - what will be in the interior? The armor plate welding looks great!

Mr. Baer, the finish on that is just perfect-- the dust, chipping, and variety of textures. You can easily move up a rung in your journey to full rivet counter.
