Had a chance to take some pictures last night, but Photobucket was being less than cooperative, so it took awhile to upload them.
I had noticed that those two crewmen were looking down, and needed something to focus on. This was what I came up with. The missus doesn't understand why I would add something like this. She thinks it's rather gruesome, but then, so was the war. As always, thanks for looking. Al

"Bloody 'ell", after almost exactly one year, I'm calling this one done. Added the last figure, a Lewis gunner from Masterbox. I had to re-position his left arm up a bit, and his head was replaced with one from Hornet.
The Lewis gun was nicely detailed and he went together well. My only complaint with this Masterbox set is the lack of canteens. An essential piece of equipment I would think. Also added another post and some more barbed wire to the front corner. Wanted to better convey the entanglements usually found at The Front.
As before, the post was made from a piece of scrap sprue that was textured by scraping with a fine-tooth razor saw. The wire is PE from Aber. Here are a few last overall shots.
I'd like to thank Takom for providing the kit, and to thank Daryl and the folks at ArmoramA for giving me the chance to build it. I also appreciate the patience they showed with the sometimes snail's pace at which this build/review progressed. Thanks also, to those who have followed along and your very kind and generous remarks. It was a great kit and a fun build and now it's got me thinking of doing a 'Female' to sit next to it. Damn! Al

For some one who said, and I quote,"Ill never do a dio", you have come around with some very nice ones Al. Welcome to the far side of this hobby. Once you get bit you have a hard time going back. Now you realize why I blame you for all my building problems, LOL. Looks real accurate and well laid out, lets see your next one. bob

Thanks Bob, but if you're going to quote me, at least do it accurately. I had said that I'd probably never do a diorama. I allowed that there was a very, very slim chance that I just might do one. Guess I was just a wee bit mistaken, neither for the first time, nor probably the last either. Al
