For the win maybe
M9 uses aluminum for weight savings and it has a cummings v8 diesel. Plus it is a out of left field release.

Gino I Think its a M916. A while back Rob was looking for a 1/32 Freightliner bonnet. I think Rob built one and this is it produced by a company from the far east.
I was helping Rob with that, I drew up a hood in 3D and was going to have it 3D printed. But the person Rob was going to build it for backed out.
I kept drawing ont the M915 and ended up with this:
There is a model company that is interested in my work and wants to make a kit, but I can not say who or when.

Actually, it was me you were working with and the buyer dropped out. Hopefully it will still be made by that company.

I don't think so. The M9 Ace has a solid bottom hull under the engine, the pic Rob showed does not.

Great ideas, but right none my drawing plate is full for the next few months with other projects. But maybe I can get to them. what you see in the M915 drawing is at least 400 hours of drawing

I did along with the Chenowth LSV, the successor to the DPV. I also thought it could be a PMC SUV or pickup, John Deere, Polaris MRZR, Ranger Peacekeeper, Lenco Bearcat, or USAF RATT, but Rob said none of the guesses came close because these are all the kits we WANT.
I'm kind of wondering if this is a smoke generator, electrical generator, forklift, spotlight trailer, welder, or some supply vehicle that hardly appears on anyone's want list.
I thought most American trucks have a metal fan, not plastic.
It would kind of make sense if it's a civilian vehicle as MENG hasn't released one in their Velociraptor series for a long time. I'm still hoping for some FAVs as the market seems lacking in the modern ones...the RSOV Land Rover is out of service.
Is it a Blackwater Grizzly armored car? I think the bottom would be armored though.

Nope, FMTVs also use in-line 6 cylinder Caterpillar engines, not Chevy 6.5 liter V-8s.

I doubt it. Power Stroke is a Ford engine and looks very different than a Chevy 6.5 liter V8 diesel.

Wow, 4 whole pages of guesses and speculation, and still no grand revelation.
You're certainly keeping us curious and entertained, Rob :-)

Recently there was some speculation about a kit's release not being the one I expected. (I'm assured BOTH are still in the works) The photo below ain't one of them, but just for fun, it is of a different one I helped with that is coming. Who knows their engines?
YOU'RE ALL WRONG!!! It's going to be either a militarized 1950's "GOOD HUMOR" Ice Cream Truck, or a Lamborghini Huracan in camo...
You guys are worse than a bunch of pubescent girls at their first Junior High dance who've gotten their pantyhose in a twist!!!
It's just a joke, so please, don't stone me to death!!!

Damnation to the poster what resurected this thread when I had finally FORGOTTEN about it and NOT longed for the answer (I spent literally days of hours looking at motors to try and find the exact match to that picture to try and get the answer)
