Aloha,
I've enlisted. Been on a two year hiatus and need to get back in the game. I have a slightly started Jagdluther from the Dust series, if this would be an acceptable entry. Otherwise I have a Marder IIIM to go with.

Zon,
I had to look up Jagdluther cause I had no idea. Please feel free to build either of your possibilities.
Best Wishes,
Gaz

Hey Everyone!
Only a month to go!
Let's talk about Marders:

All photos included for discussion only!

Despite their many negative points like poor crew protection, they've always been a personal favorite. I want to build them all, eventually.

I built the Tamiya example of this one when I was a young teen.

I've always thought the IIIM to be the sexiest of them. Like a Corvette with a 75mm PaK.
There should be laws against this stuff! I mean, how am I supposed to live without buying it?!?
Of course, when you look up tank hunters you find some strange ones:

If it weren't for the tracks and bogies, I woulda thought some guy built this in his garage.

And how bout those innovative Swedes? I guess there's no getting under-the-gun of the S-Tank.

Yup! Swedes again.

This one looks to scary to be real.

And last but not least...that 38t chassis just keeps on giving!

I have one of those kits just gathering dust!

Jeff,
Why not propose an SPG campaign? I'd love to see you build it, and I just picked up a Brummbar this weekend.

Yeah... I don't have the energy to lead Campaigns anymore but thanks for the encouragement!
I'll just wait for you to propose it.

Hi Everyone!
More photos!
What a beast!
Another one I didn't know about! The ASU-57

The Archer Tank Destroyer
Even the Swiss!

Talk about add-ons!

This one would scream: "make me a diorama!" if it were possible to make credible dust flying through the air.

See, you can lower your 88'.
And last but not least:

The People's tank hunting weapon.
Only three weeks to go!

I started on the ASU-57 by Maquette. Dog kit but only one in 1/35th at the time.
It's so small it feels just like 1/72nd scale!

Guys,
Thanks for the replies.
Tat, planes are cool!
Matthew, I'd think a bunker buster would want a bigger shell. That doesn't mean I'm right, tho.
Jeff, if it's that small, I'll avoid it for sure. I'm all thumbs.
Lewis, awesome! More figures is good!

Hi,
I join also with Jagdpanzer Elefant by Italeri. I'm going to add some goods, aber PE, JR gun barrel, Friulmodel tracks and Tamiya zimmerit. It's very old model so a lot of work ahead of me.

Oh yeah...its the Stug Lyfe for me bros. Peace!

Bryan I did a built review of that kit a few years ago nice kit but if I remember correctly the gun demensions are too big for the fighting compartment
Maybe you will have better luck than I did.

I found your review. It'll come in handy knowing Dragon and their penchant for including nasty surprises in their directions.

I got this kit pretty cheap in a sale (was around $30 with shipping) and it will be my first Stug III kit so I guess I'm kinda nervous.

I think the British A39 Tortoise (first picture) was proposed as a heavy assault tank, a 'bunker buster' to deal with heavily fortified positions, and not as a tank destroyer, but could be wrong.

Matt
edit - WoT has it listed as a TD, so who knows, lol
Shhhh... WOT knows NOTHING!!! Just ask Sergeant Shultz!

Besides I believe you're right about the Tortoise (A39) tank as it was their heavy assault tank designed in World War II, but never put into production. It was developed only for clearing heavily fortified bunkers just like the US T-28 tank was.

Jeff, we'll have to save the Tortoise for an upcoming SPG campaign.
David, looking forward to seeing your AFV Club kit. With so many Nashorns out there, I have no idea which one to buy.
