None of this type of humour is appreciated. If you cannot contribute positively, sir, I'd appreciate it if you stayed out of this thread.

Good GRIEF! ARMORAMA wasn't a MORTUARY, the last time I checked! I will be VERY GLAD to stay out of your dreary thread...

Tat and Jeff,
Thanks for the information. I prefer to build battle-used weapons, so I can place that one far down the list.
Jesper,
I'm sure whatever you choose will turn out brilliantly. How'd that Gustav turn out, btw?
Ken,
Looking forward to it!

Thanks for the encouragement. I have not started on the Gustav yet
However, I plan to do the Gustav for the Academy group build.

I'm debating between the SU-122-55 idea and a E-25 I recently got. Either way I'm in good shape for the campaign.

Good options. That E-25 looks like a Hetzer on steroids.

Hi Everyone!
Only one week to go! During this final week I will be preparing a data sheet which will have everyone's pertinent information for the campaign. That information will be posted on the front page of this thread and updated as we go.
Let's go hunt some tanks!
See you soon!

My Tamiya PAK 35/36 arrived just before I had to depart rather precipitously. It's not an extreme build by any stretch of the imagination, but I have a certain sense of nostalgia for one that I built as a kid many years ago. Will get a starting photo posted after I have had a chance to catch up from being gone for so long.

Have been wishing to do a Jagdpanther (if it qualifies for this campaign) for a long long time. I have the older Tamiya kit (35203)and the newer Dragon kit (6458) in my stash, will decide building which one. I am in. My first campaign.

Hi Gary,
Will be a new forum created to post in-progress photos? Or this one will be used till the finish of the campaign? (Just asking, because the "propsal" wording)
Cheers,
Zsolt
p.s.: Just received the Jagdpanzer IV/L70 from Tamiya... now my confusion is even bigger about which kit to start for this campaign
On the bench:
- Tristar Panzer IV ausf. B. 1:35 - France 1940 Campaign
- Dragon Panzerjäger I ausf. B 1:35
- Revell Leopard 2A4 1:35

Zsolt,
Thank you for your question. We will continue to use this forum throughout the campaign. There are already members following the thread, so I think it best to keep it. The title of the thread will be changed on or about September first.
I hope you enjoy the campaign. I look forward to seeing whichever tank hunter you build.
Best Wishes,
Gaz

For the campaigns I have run in the past, I have typically asked one of the Admins to change the name of the thread from "Campaign Proposal:" to "Official Campaign:" or something like that. Generally, I find it to be less confusing than creating a new thread (although I have seen that done also).

Hi Everyone!
Here is my entry:
It has so many parts, I cannot believe I'm going to get most of them onto that tiny chassis! Didn't realize it had a metal barrel until just now.
Anyone know where to find the appropriate spent brass casings?
Best Wishes,
Gaz

Gaz, would this work?
Tamiya 35258
Its got the casings for fired shells for the 75mm Pak 40. Its advertised for the Ausf M but is still the same weapon as the Ausf H.

Joseph,
Thank you! I'll really be wanting to see how that Zeltbahn turns out. I have some Luftwaffe infantry in them for another build, and I'm not quite sure how I'll paint them.
For Everyone,
The front page has been updated. I'll do my best to keep up with you guys.
Happy creating!

Hello,
It's a wingy thing for me this time:
Need to finish a couple of campaign builds first, I should be able to start on this by then.
