Clayton,
How would you feel about a Kettenkraftrad? Only has the one steerable wheel, but I've been wanting to do one of those for a long time.
Absolutely! I'd love to see that too!

Tom
The figures are available separately, if that's what you're after. The halftrack to which you refer was a M3A2, which never went into production.

Rob

Perhaps a different halftrack for the ribbon? I only say so because we recently wrapped up a 250/251 campaign and there is another on-going right now. This ribbon might end up looking a lot like the ribbons for those. Just a thought.

Not a lot of time for actually building finished models but I can't resist anything Half-track related. I've worked out most of the suspension, the rollers, a rough track form, large pieces of the frame and many of the cab sections in rough form as well. Front tires and most of the wheel are done as well. Front fenders looking good too. In short, I've got myself a decent foundation so far.
NOTE! None of these pieces are "built" or "started" yet! I'm simply building the pieces themselves and molding them up. Hopefully I'll have most of the kit worked out by the time the campaign actually starts. So I may have to cobble together some scratchbuilt body sections and forgo the drivetrain for a dummy version but I think I can pull this build off in time. As I said, I can't resist a Half-track build so I'm in!
(P.S. Yes, it's 1/24 scale as usual)
Jim
