Sounds good Matthew! Are you sure the tracks alone will add more then 200-220 parts to the overall count?
I'll check tonight. I think they certainly will if you count each of the connecting bolts that hold the tracks together
If not, I'll build the MiniArt T44M.
Cheers

Thanks Matthew!
There is enough to build for two campaigns on that kit Dustin!
Glad you and John sorted this one out.

Christian, in addition to the kit parts there are 180 tracks links and 360 resin pins to hold them together. Do the pins count?

Thanks for checking Matthew! The pins count if these are assembled on the model. Absolutely! Sounds like a lot of "fun"

Decided to Dump the RFM Tiger Build. I started it a little early and Just couldn't get excited about, so I dug out all the parts for the AFV Nashorn I had sitting about for sometime
I will make the proper part count adjustments once I figure how much of the PE I will be using.
(220 Track links and 110 Ice Cleats plus the pins in the Kaizen Winterkettens) and I will be scratch building/kit bashing an engine and drivers compartment.
This is one of those builds I have been putting off for sometime so I think it will be a good one for this build.

Looks like a great kit... To be honest I never heard of it before but then again I'm no WWII specialist.
Please do let us know about the part count once you have it. Thanks!

Looks nice! Is it glued together or just test fitted? Will you be able to paint the inner parts if everything is glued together?

450 Parts in the Kit itself, 330 in the track Kit. and another 600 in PE. But I figure what the PE replaces in plastic and since I will be including some of the Interior, it should be around 900 give or take.

Cristian, I looked all night for parts counts and came up empty.
The two I have in mind are the Takom Chieftian Mk 5 and MENG T-72b3.
I have the Takom Chieftain Mk 10 and wanted to build it for this campaign. Here is my parts count (yes, I counted every part on each sprue...)
Sprue A - 74 pcs (x 2 sprue) - 148 pcs
Sprue C - 55 pcs
Sprue D - 54 pcs
Sprue E - 34 pcs (x6 sprue) - 204 pcs
Sprue F - 7 pcs
Sprue G - 9 pcs
Sprue J - 15 pcs
Sprue M - 22 pcs (clear)
Indy Tracks - 200 pcs
P/E Fret - 42 pcs
Upper Hull - 1 pc
Lower Hull - 1 pc
Turret Top - 1 pc
Turret Bottom -3 pcs (cupola rings)
Poly Cap - 2 pcs
Gun Mask - 1 pc
By my count (and I could be off) I show a parts count of 765 pieces (thank you indy track pads). So it should be allowable for the campaign.
If it is, I'm in. If not, I'll have to dig through one of my Dragon Premium kits that are over-engineered to high heaven!
Hard to believe that no matter what site I went to, NOBODY had a parts count on the Chieftain...

Tat & Cristian - Thanks for the help fellas. I currently own both kits, but I've been out of town for work. I just got home and counted the Takom Chieftain Mk 5P. It comes in at 772 parts including indi link tracks, track pads and PE. If this is ok then that'll be my entry.
I counted my Mk. 5 and this was my comment on page two.

I finally talked myself into joining. This is the first one in a looooong time too so I figured I'd do it up right. I'm going with this big boy:
I started a few weeks before the official start date but I have lots of pieces to go before I'm done. This is what I've done so far:
And this is how many total parts to the kit:
I've originally got this kit years ago and eventually sold it. I just recently bought it again. Watching this thread and seeing that terry (messynachos) was in for building one, I figured I'd join up myself. I have no idea where I'll put it when I'm done, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
So anyway, hopefully it's not too late to join up and if it's not, I'm happy to be here.

We were allowed to start early for this Campaign, so you should be cool. I'm building the Morser Karl Gerat, so maybe we should chip in together for a 5 gal. bucket of German Grey paint, LOL....
