I am calling this one done. Trumpeter KV-1 complete. This kit was a joy to build. Went together so easily with no issues. Perfect OOTB build.

I was supposed to post this a few days ago, but somehow I forgot..

Anyway, I'm gonna build Trumpy's E-25 which I'm also building for the yearly contest of my local club. That's double the pressure to finish a kit for once!

Dated entry pic as required.

Didnt want to go too crazy on the weathering either

Now to make sure I post a photo in the right campaign tread not like I did for the Trumpeter 2 Campaign

Progress on my build has been slow but in the last few days I managed to get it painted.

It's being delivered to the Marine Corps so I have to get a clear coat on then the decals. Also needs a load out so still a fair way to go.
cheers
Michael

Got an update. The Grizzly is coming alone nicely. Paint is done as well as some minor chipping.

Cheers,
Chris

Ah well, stupid photobucket won't let us post links... then it's time to change!
Here are the previous pictures and newer ones (at the end) with the fade and decals done.

Cheers and thanks for looking.

i have been working again on the BMP and have installed the metal masterclub tracks which i pre-painted as well as adding the side skirts.
I still need to start the weathering process, numerous washes etc but you will get the general idea from the picture below.

John,
If final date always August 31st, 2017 it should be OK for me.
A little aftermarket: wheels and antennas
Some bolts need to be cut and glued while another bolts are already molded on the vehicle.
Trumpeter do not give cable for the winch. I add one.
A front part of the vehicle with probably the engine ventilation. I have glued a piece of black paper on the back of the part to hide the void.
A first view with the camouflage applied. Trumpeter instructions are wrong about the scheme. I've found pics on the net and in magazines to correct it.
