Slowly moving to the finish.
I have loaded it up to get an idea of what it will look like so here is an almost there pic.

Still needs a clear coat for the decals and then I will figure out how to weather it for Vietnam conditions. The Skyhawks on the ground there looked fairly grubby.
cheers
Michael

I've lost interest in the Aerosan (03231) and have shelved it. It wasn't a good kit, mainly it just wasn't an enjoyable build. So unless I have a change of heart in to next few days...I'm out.

I'm calling this done!
This is my finished model of a Trumpeter BMP-1 in Syrian civil war colours, the decals were purchased separately from Echelon and the driver figure comes from the old Warriors Taliban figure set.

can someone link me the campaigns album page and i will upload pictures there, thanks.

Great work on the A-4 Michael !
Alex, that Puma looks real nice.
Too bad the PE parts weren't that good, Trumpeter T-62's have the same issue, 3 T-62's built, 3 PE protection's broken or lost.
My build is shelved, tiny single track links got the best of me and I lost valuable time on this one.
Nice work fellas !!!

The kit was OOB and painted with tamiya acrylics and humbrol washes. The figure was painted with tamiya acrylics as well but the flesh tones were done using oil paints.
I have now uploaded pictures to the campaign gallery

John, tank you for your comment.
It is a pity you cannot finish your model on time.
And several modellers including you, are penalised with photobucket website changes.
David great BMP you have done. I like the weathering and the burned area on right side.

Hey everybody,
Great builds one and all. Sorry that I haven't been commenting on the builds individually, but work has kept me so busy that all my spare time has gone to finishing my T-72B. Anyway, congratulations to everyone who has finished and good luck to those working down to the wire.
Anyway, here it is, on the muddy side like Alex's Puma:

Hi Alex,
Thank you very much! I like the way on your Puma you worked the dust into all the nooks and crannies - looks great.

I like this diorama it looks nice ! Sandbags wall is awesome, did you make it yourself ?
The pose of the figure on the vehicle is really cool.
Don't forget to upload 2 photos of your finished work in the campaign gallery.
