Tank/Infantry cooperation during urban combat training. The large "chair" on the turret allows the instructor to supervise the crew's action during different combat/emergency scenarios.

Captured turretless Egyptian T-34 during the Yom Kipur War. Any info on this vehicle?

Hey Israel,

You are putting up some very pretty pics here and the community really seems to enjoy it and find it useful.

I just want to point out that you have pictures of vehicles with active bases and soldiers in the background, for example Gaza and Har Dov and others.

Please Please be careful in the media you put up on the internet, I personally have been shot at at some of the places in your pictures.

Just being "Yellow" but why take a risk?

Cheers,
Bryan

Hello Bryan,
First of all, as a former IDF member myself, I share your concern of not reveling any classified location/material and/or faces of IDF soldiers. However, 100% of the pictures I've posted have been published before on the internet. Moreover, about 95% of them from websites such as the IDF's/IAF's own, websites of all sort of newspapers/publishers, military/security related public websites and blogs supervised by the internal security, etc.
The last to pictures of the "Merkava" on this page for example are from this website: https://www.idfblog.com/blog/2016/01/24/urban-warfare-battle-streets/
And no, you're not being "yellow" at all, these are totally understandable concerns.

I do have a very large collection of pictures from the "Yom Kipur" war, but I can't recall any of what you've asked. I'll do my best to dig up something for you.

A "Namer" is evaluated in the US together with a Swedish CV90 and a turretless "Bradley". Now, that would make an interesting diorama...

Dragon's latest announcement reminded me of this story: http://defence-blog.com/army/israeli-tank-magach-3-arrived-russia-for-exchange.html

Apparently the tank returned to Israel is in drivable condition: https://www.rt.com/news/345909-russia-israel-tank-netanyahu/

Something I found last, on night shift...

and for fans of the Achzarit, note the spare links on the right side of the vehicle, the lights on the hull top, the mounts for the d'hif battering ram, and the non-slip texturing.
