Bummer! My mother would sometimes break a model when she was dusting them.

Well, like a lot of modellers, i have way too many in-progress projects. Perhaps joining this campaign might be a good plan to finish off at least one of them
I'd like to join with this Trumpeter Centauro i started in 2012 for a campaign on a Dutch forum. While building i remember having a conversation with a fellow modeller who was building a Panther about the size of our barrels. I will let you fill in the maturity of that conversation, but let's keep it at "mine's bigger"
Of course i had to cheat a bit and glue the PE on the barrel last monday...
This is how he looks likes today.

I am actually building 3 Abrams right now instead of just the two that I originally started the campaign with. I thought I would do a quick group pick. Trying to finish the middle one first.
The second pic shows the number two Abrams that I am slowly doing also as is in line next to finish. I am trying to decide if it will be left clean or with gear all over it also.

Meng pickup WIP as a CIA truck Afghanistan 2001, not identical to the third photo, but more 'inspired by'
Just got the Ammo by Mig washable dust on and scrubbed back with a stiff brush. I could have taken more off, but I'm happy with the effect so far.
the BEAUTIFUL Live Resin Mg is still WIP as well
Armorcon is Sept 23, tick tick tick....

Life has been busy lately, but I've still managed to get a little bit of work in. Slowly but surely the Amiot 143 is taking shape. Some more interior details have been added. After I've cut, divided with simulated hinges, and set the windows (from Evergreen stock), it'll be time to join the fuselage halves. Exhaust pipes have been added to the engine nacelles; bracing has been set to the fore of the upper rear turret position; the silver ring positioned on the lower rear machine gun port served a dual purpose: as a track for both a MAC 34 machine gun and a retractable segmented canopy which I have yet to build. Still a long way to go, but I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel (which a wise man once told me could be the light of an oncoming train).

Your interior looks quite amazing, especially since it is in 1/72 scale!

Thanks, Gary. It's been challenging, considering that this is the first time I've attempted any extensive scratch building. It can be pretty intimidating to begin, but then you familiarize yourself with the materials and the hit-or-miss approaches to working with them. Then you get a little bit bolder with every step and it really gets fun. Now I find myself thinking hey, I've got a Smer Amiot 143 on hand--I'll build THAT in a completely different way!

Here's the Panda 2S6M Tunguska kit that has been taunting me for over two years now...
I've got the hull and road wheels primed. I've still got to assemble the tracks and the missile tubes and prime the turret.
It's going to be painted in a three-color arctic digital camo pattern.

Building has been going well but the PB problems have derailed my postings. I will try and link a pic of my Sherman III DV off Imgur

That was easy. Now here are 3 pics of the finished model.

Congrats Cam for another one off the shelf of shame and into the display case. Well done! Go buy yourself another TWO models... -grin-
As for me finishing these, it's not too hard to do with so many shelf/hangar queens to pick from and soooo many low-hanging all but done fruit to choose from! But thanks!
I still have that Panther w interior from 2012 to finish though..

I started assembling the tracks last night, 104 links on the left side. I'm going to get the right side done tonight. Once They've had a day or so to dry I'm going to take the tracks and road-wheels back off for painting.
I'm hoping to give the lower hull its base coat (white) over the weekend.

Got this one done in time for ArmorCon but just now getting the photos online. It was a project within a project with all the interior goodies, but I'm glad it no longer lives the life of a shelf queen!
