Count me in!
I bought recently a T-55AM2B kit and will build it as Bulgarian tank from the late 80's/early 90's.

Dustin quick question would it be considered cheating if I open the plastic on the sprues to do a review of the kit before the campaign kicks off

Quick question for the Takom Mk. IV owners/builders out there.
I've got the hermaphrodite kit, and you can build it as that, or a full female version, or a full male--BUT there's only one metal barrel provided with the kit. I would rather build the male, but am left with sourcing a barrel kit from Poland ($30), cutting down a 6lber barrel in my stash and drilling out the bore (#failboat), or scratchbuilding one from sprue (#jenky).
I'm still up in the air...I've never actually seen a completed hermaphrodite model--I know it's not "historically accurate" and all, so my hesitation lies there on building it as that. The female is sexy, what with all of its MGs poking out, and the Takom MGs are pretty nice, too. I think deep inside though I am reluctant to build a tank without cannon--because well, it's a tank!
What would you do:-?

Ronnie,
Go ahead sir! You can do anything you like with you kit before the start date, just as long as you don't actually start building.

We only have a few more days until the start date! Don't forget to enlist if you haven't. Also don't forget your starting pics. I'm excited to see what everybody will be building.

Ronnie, I was checking out my T-55AM2B, #2057, with the East German box art. The art work supplied by Mig in the instructions shows white numbers. Maybe my kit is a later release but included with the decals is a small decal sheet with white numbers. At the bottom of the sheet it says, "correction". I don't think that many other manufacturers would issue a special correction decal. Hats off to Takom for that !
Hopefully you haven't discovered the correction decal yet.

At the top of your page under the ArmoramA logo, click "Campaigns", find Takom, and click the enlist tab!

Thanks Clayton.
Yup, click on the Campaigns tab right next to the forum tab. Once there, click on "TAKOM campaign". Then once there you can click on the enlist tab at the top right corner.

I've got the new AMMO March/July 1945 King Tiger, which is basically a Takom KT rebox with a new sprue from Takom but marked "AMMO". would it qualify for the build?

Absolutely Bob. I know the kit well and it was made by TAKOM for Ammo. I'm eager to see what you do with it.
