Hey guys,
Here's my entry, it's going to be OOB except for SKP lenses and Eureka XXL tow cables:
I want to get started soon, hopefully this week.
Have a fun build, everybody!

Exciting entries! I'm really looking forward to seeing that KV-5 built up.
I snapped my tracks together on my Mk. IV this morning while having coffee and watching Mingles with Jingles. These Takom tracks are simply some of the easiest, and well engineered sets I've ever done.
Now that I'm chained to my desk at work, I plan on making another meter long length of scale barbed wire to pass the time until I can get home to my bench.

I picked up a set of those tracks for another kit, too. I'll be looking forward to see how yours come out!

I'm really liking your barbed wire, Christian. I'm excited to see your build. I've been waiting to build one of those for awhile. May just spark my interest enough to pick one up.
I love seeing all of these T-55s. Gonna be sweet to see all of the variations.

Wow, looks like a nice diverse collection is shaping up! I would have loved to submit the Leopard C2 Mexas but unfortunately had already started before I heard about this campaign. Ah well...
This is my first ever campaign so I am excited. Tried one earlier but just as l was starting I had an overseas work assignment with limited access to emails, so that went up in smoke. I hope to stay the course for this one!
Good luck gents!
Johanan

Hi gents,
First off, please let me say that this is NOT a campaign entry. I mentioned earlier that I had started this kit before finding out a Takom campaign was coming. These things happen!
However the Leo C2 MEXAS is a Takom kit, and a real treat to build too! Fit is generally really good, but take care when cutting and cleaning up parts from the sprues as some pieces are really delicate and the attachment points somewhat thick and clunky.
The kit version is of an original spec vehicle and my model shows some simple home-made improvements to feature the combat upgrades that were added after delivery. Most obvious are the front fender shrouds and the Thales ECM module on the left side of the turret bustle. All that's left to do is to apply an anti slip coat to the upper turret armor components.
I've left off a few items like the jerry cans/ holders, MG, cables and headlight glass screens till after painting. But I'll stop here and focus on my actual campaign project, the Chieftain Mk.10.
Regards,
Johanan

Welcome Peter. I'm looking forward to all of these entries. TAKOM makes some very nice and interesting kits. We should all have a good time building these.
