great, second question, do I have to build the kit to its normal setup?
I have a Takom mark I that I wanted to get silly with and lets say....update to keep the surprise. just not sure if we need to be based in normal reality for the campaigns!

Not sure how out of the norm you wanted to go but there is a Sci-Fi and alternative history III campaign that is forming.

Working on the turret internals now, testing the eyesight muchly. Lots of small fiddly details, it does build upnicely though

So I have the 12.8cm Flak painted, decaled, and sealed. I am going to make a slightly larger base and paint it to resemble concrete. The kit looks nice but there are some alignment issues and weak attachment points for stuff. All in all I'm glad I got one when I found it on sale - as it does look impressive next to my other guns - but I don't want to build one again.
All that's left is some minor weathering.
