I leave you guys a lone for a couple of months and come back to just utter brilliance! This is an amazing groups of artisans and builders! Such creativity and imagination especially Jerry who takes a Napoleonic horse officer and turned into an entire story!

A really beautiful dio Jerry, I don’t think popularity should always be judged by how many views/comments although a lower count was probably on the cards because the only armor in it is on those “beetles” lurking in the undergrowth…that audition quote was a cute clue

And maybe some were put off by the unrealistic & unpainted giant milk churn on the right and not-to scale grain silo on the left in the final photo

Anyway it’s a gem

You are being too hard on yourself bubba ! You know,at every level we are in with our model building skills there is always somebody better. I share your opinion and every time I feel a bit comfortable about where I am I see something on line that takes away all my hope ! LoL There are some guys on Fb that paint these knights and other stuff and I just can't believe it!! All I can do is just keep plugging along. My eye sees where I should go but my skill never seems to equal the challenge.

What a trip,, getting to watch this all come together, and then to be amazed by the end result! I try to avoid butting in during the process cause I feel its' like cheering on Picasso while he's still painting his next masterpiece. And this is exactly what you've done, a masterpiece! Absolute beauty! You really do keep plugging along Jerry!

Great story, really enjoy this aspect of dioramas.
And yours are the creme de la creme. Not to mention your groundwork, fig painting, fig conversions, techniques, coloring, structures, historical knowledge and accuracy, vehicles, and on and on...
I have that seated old Eastern peasant gent being used as a partisan in a dio, but what you've accomplished with it is nothing short of brilliant! (again)

I haven't posted photos of late, but I use Photobucket too and for whatever reason it doesn't seem to work as well from my Mac or IPad as it does from my PC laptop?

My IPad actually tells me that it doesn't support the app, and that it may slow down my system...

Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I hope you get it up and running again, but either way I know how to use FB too, so I will be able to get my JRutman fix...
