I have a Valentine and a British Sherman sitting on the shelves that might fit the bill, so I am interested.

A US tank used by the British in WW2 is allowed but an IDF Centurion is not.
I hope this clears a few future questions.
That suggests the Panther "Cuckoo" ...
..would be possible? It might entice a few German only builders to cross over to the Light Side? Okay, okay, baby steps first, we can get them into a full non-German kit later....
Great to see this up an running John. I'm in. Probably an A13, AVRE or a CVR(T)variant

Quoted TextHi, sounds good. Two questions:
1. Only tanks? I have a few lorries on my stash.
2. Tank have to be used by british troops?
Anyway I'm in.
Hi Pawel,
Yes, just tanks, no APC, no lorries,
And for the second question, yes too.
A US tank used by the British in WW2 is allowed but an IDF Centurion is not.
I hope this clears a few future questions.
Hi John, thanks for answer. Now everything is clear.
Well, probably I'll build Valentine used by Polish soldiers in UK.

Speaking of Cs, this is a good excuse to get to either the AFV Club Centurion or the Amusing Hobby Conqueror in the stash.

I'm building an A13 (Bronco 35029) for the Crusader to Gazala campaign so I'm thinking about building another one for this.
The kit is a 2-in-1 deal, early or late version of mantlet and maybe some other small details. The late goes to Gazala so the early would fit here.
I just love that kit, 480 fiddly little plastic pieces just to make the tracks. Lots and lots of injection gates to clean up ....

I am going with one that has been on the shelf for awhile. Trumpeters Challenger 2. I know that this kit has it's faults, but going to have a crack at it and improve what I can.

Well this one is quite simple..
British tanks anyone ?
- All era.
- Diorama, AM allowed.
- Prototype and cancelled projects allowed.
- 1:16 to 1:72 scales
- Running from Dec. - July 2018 (?)
Any takers ?
Any chance of this fitting in?

Additionally, in our conversations, we have learned that:
a) the T-34 and KV vehicles will be produced for the British army. The former will be equipped with a 17-pounder, the latter with a 6 inch howitzer.
b) the tanks will be built with an improved gearbox and differential clutches.
c) the KV air pumps will be improved. [Note: the KV the British got had a defective air pump]
d) the tanks will be equipped with centrifugal air filters that will draw air from the transmission compartment. This is explained as follows: if you take air from behind the tank, it will contain dust kicked up by the tank. If you draw air from the transmission, the air purity reached is 100% ideal.
e) the welding will be performed with electrodes made from high hardness steel, which will result in welding seams being as robust as the armour plates.

Yes Nigel, all your progress and photos should be posted here.
You must post one photo of the finished kit in the KitMaker Gallery
- Black tab button KM Gallery, select Campaigns, select 2017 Campaigns and the British Brigade. Then post your finished photo.

Just a quick update,
Here's where I'm at in the M10 Achilles build. Painted most of the interior white on a whim. Not sure yet whether I'll leave the upper hull unglued to show this detail or to close it all up.
