That's pretty neat. Love the dirt / dust on the wheels.

Excellent Franck. Very nicely finished. Nice to see one depicted in post war use. Makes me want to start mine (after I finish what I have started of course)
It Will need a bit of a clean before it goes in the "The Lot"
Thnaks for joining in, I hope you had fun.
Don't forget to upload pics to the Gallery when you can.

Starting test fitting the anti-laser coating on the periscopes.
I had to order some paint from Sprue Brothers so it doesn't look like I'll get to paint until next weekend. At least I can get everything primed and the bullet-proof glass painted.

I'm still building, and so are you....
Keep up the good work.

Aloha All,
Some great looking builds.
Richard: Nice work on the Guardian. I'm also working on that off and on. Did you have difficulty setting the wheel mounts evenly? I've left the rockers unglued for now and I'm concerned about ending up with a level vehicle.
For my JGSDF LAV, I've made small progress and am grateful for the extension. I didn't have the appropriate JGSDF colors, so I improvised with Vellejo Air China-Burma-India aircraft colors. Olive Drab and Curtiss Brown for the top, with Forest Green for the bottom.
I left the interior fairly bland as the windows are pretty small and deeply tinted blue.
Happy Modeling,
-zon

I won't know about how level the wheels are until final assembly. Right now there are just tack-glued in place with the tiniest amount of CA. If worse comes to worse there's a little bit of room for me to bend the arms a little bit.

Looking great Zon, I think your colour options have paid off well.
Welcome aboard Lap Man. Lookks like another fine addition to your collection is well on the way,

I've got the base coat on the hull and turret. Now it's time for the detailing.

Nice Richard, real nice.
Okay got minimal bench time on the weekend as SWMBO decided I needed to help her prepare for her friends Birthday that she is hosting. Public holiday here Wednesday but she is working anyway, so I hope to finsih the build part, the exterior detailing bits at least, then. Didn't realise how much detailing I left myself...

Thanks! I got the heads lights and brush guards put on last night and painted the taillights, antenna mounts and tips of the smoke grenade launchers. Tonight it's painting the barrels for the weapons and putting the periscopes on.
I tend to be a bit of a minimalist when it comes to weathering; but I might do a wash if I have time.

Gee Lap Man, not sure if I can put it on the Armored CarMax lot if it needed to be towed in
One very dirty beast, but it looks impressive. Love it. Thanks for joining in. I hope you enjoyed it.

Richard: coming along nicely.
Lap Man: looks great. I’ve always liked the look of the MGS and you’ve done a great job. Congratulations on finishing.
Jose: welcome to the fun!
I had a clear coat disaster. Sprayed with the pressure way too high and it went to sandpaper, so, gave it a Windex bath and started over. I’m almost back to my last photos. Will try to post the second go later this weekend.
Happy Modeling,
Zon

I've got the turret done on the M1117 Guardian.
The hull is painted. I'm hoping to clear coat tomorrow so it can sit for a couple days before decals. It's not perfect; but it's the first one I will have completed in about 4 years.

Glad to see you could recover Zon. Looking forward to more pics.
Looks pretty well perfect from where I sit Richard.

Got round to taking pics of the Boxer at last:
Nice and clean as it's in the lot for customers
