Finally Decided on what I will build. Never built an IBG kit before, so this Otter build will be interesting. Has an interior as well, so I'll leave the doors open - waste not want not.

Hi Tat
It is a nice kit. I started one and started scratch building the interior parts that are missing. It is an unfinished build project at the moment. I am my own worse enemy when it comes to detail.

Keep up the good work. My M8 is about half done. Need a couple more decals on it, then I have to dull coat it, start the white wash and on to the fiddly bits.

Tim, impressive!
Yes, it's a fine kit. I almost have forgotten how much I like ICM kits - I haven't make one in two years!
I'm going to use the same markings, but with overall green.
Cheers!

Well, let's try that again. This time get the right photo attached. It's all decaled, Futured and dull coated. Just need to get the rear fenders on and then start the white wash.

Well, that was a bit nerve wreaking. I had an OK to good finish on the Greyhound, then I white washed it.
I mixed nearly equal parts of Tamiya Flat Base, Tamiya White X-2, Tamiya Thinner and Future floor wax. And slapped it on with an older but kinda soft brush.
It may not be great, but I think it will do. I can see that one might have looked like this.

I quite like it Mark. With more weathering I think this will look quite effective.

Weight: 28 t.
Speed: 120km/h on road / 50 km/h off road
Range: 1000 km
Armament: 76mm Denet GT4 gun
Here it is: big, armoured, armed and fast - Rooikat. Designed as armoured reconnaissance vehicle with significant anti-tank and fire support roles. Designed in South Africa in late 80's, still to date one of the best wheeled armoured vehicles (if not the best). Version I will build is late one with some upgrades like fire control and sensors from being tested Rooikat 105 with 105mm gun.
It's Trumpeter's new release in 1/35 to be done out of a box in general, as there is no aftermarket available yet. Obviously I will add some details with support of photos I have found online, like brakes lines and some other small details.

Tim - the Panhard looks great inside and out.
Peter - I built that Otter and it is a very cool kit and I think you'll like it a lot. If the kit is fully accurate inside, how the turret rotates seems hilarious.

You are being generous calling it a turret. The size it is, I would call it a bucket!
Yes I am looking forward to it, it looks like a nice kit and the few sparse reviews on it don't have much bad to say for it.

I am making the Tamiya 1/48 Puma for this campaign. I am going to replace the turret with a what-if turret with twin 30mm flak guns.

Just letting you know that Clayton has asked me to take over facilitating this build as he has some personal stuff happening at the moment.
