Nice work K! And a nice clean job Chris. I'm not a big one for weathering either.
Indeed, nice work everyone! I hope to get some work done on the Firefly this weekend.

Hello,
Some progress with build no.2 - the Tamiya panzer iv D…. Again I’ve used spare Dragon parts here and there, and scratched a few bits and pieces…
Not sure I’ll get this one finished by the deadline. I’ve still got the Italeri panzer iv F2 on the bench which is the priority…
Cheers
Matthew

Ongoing Builds:
Chris, marvelous work on your Sherman. I like the Commonwealth markings and stowage.
Mr. K, Stellar diorama of a Pacific theater Sherman...complete with battling Marines. Love the verdant jungle setting.
Matthew, another great project underway. Good job detailing this venerable Tamiya kit.
Great work everyone on their projects. I am getting wonderful inspiration watching all the builds.

Update on my Italeri Panzer IV F1.
Last bit of detailing done for the build. I added the armored smoke discharger, fender reflector, and tail light. I also corrected the single latch bin to a double one. Ooops!!
I applied the grey base coat. Now, she is looking like a Panzer!
Finished painting up the MiniArt crew figures. I'm pleased with their appearence.
Good luck everyone with their perspective builds.

@ Bill, your F1 looks great! I might haver to get another one of these Italari kits and do the short gun version too. Your figures looks very good too. I have yet to apply paint to mine.
Life gets in the way of modelling now until 16 July. But I shall keep an eye on this thread and follow progress of all builds.
Cheers

Very nice work, Bill!
Here's some progress on the Asuka Firfly IC. Paint on, time to start bringing it together. The turret is crooked because I haven't fully seated it yet, once it's on, it's on. By the way, the paint is rather darker in person.
By the way, does anyone happen to know if a 4th Canadian Armored Division Firefly would have the star-in-circle air recognition marking in August of '44?

As I may have mentioned, I'm not a big one for weathering (or loading up my models with stowage), though I did hit it with a dust mixture I have. That said, I'm calling this one done. The Asuka Sherman Firefly IC composite of the South Alberta Regiment, 4th Canadian Armoured Division, August, 1944
I quite enjoyed this kit, and am learning more about armor with every model.
Keep up the great work, everyone!

Michael,
Sweet looking Sherman, like it when they aren't overly weathered.

Hey everyone,
I am calling my Sherman M4A3 105mm done. She was finished off in the Okinawa 1945 markings.
I weather like she went nose first into a deep hole of wet sand days ago and in the heat all that is left is sand and dried mud. The tanks were just issued to the crews right before that invasion so I left the paint without any wear or chips.
Here is a look down shot.
This one a fun build. I was surprised how accurate this module was to the real thing being built and used at that time period.
Now to focus a few ship builds.
Mark

Hello!
After a while I managed to get to the end. These are the last photos of my work over Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.B.
The machine was from the Polish campaign in 1939, from the composition of the 1st Panzer Division. I hope I have succeeded.
Greetings and success to everyone! Kalin

Update on my Italeri Panzer IV Ausf. F1.
As per the color profile, I painted on the dark green camouflage stripes. I also added the decals. Love that crazy, Devil head insignia.
After mold line cleanup, I started painting the tank tools. Weathering the tank is up next, and then on to the finish.
Thanks for viewing. Good luck everyone on their perspective projects. Bill

I had to look at an old trophy to figure out the last time I painted a model. It was 2001! Needless to say I don't have any paint that survived. So while waiting on supplies, I decided to go with Ammo by Mig after seeing some models done with his paints, I was doing some organizing and the result, after a small plastic parts bin took a dive:
Not as bad as it might have been, but the 3D printed fuel tank mounts shattered. I will have to order another set, and maybe try casting these. With any luck, which I seem not to have, I'll get this one done!

Tom,
Not sure you posted these in the correct campaign. This one is about Panzer IVs, M4s, and T-34s. It's also the first post I see from you here. Should this be somewhere else?
