Well, in addition to the "fun" that is work...I'm watching the Olympics and this! - I'm still going back to look at how you built the hull, cut flush on all corners to make it appear to be one big submerged vessel! Somehow you did it...I've had a hard time making a HMMWV sit completely level on all four tires! Lol

Must’ve used a pocket laser beam...or maybe had some basic brain surgery training, no way anyone can just cut like that surely?! (Hmm had to read that anchor caption twice!). Excellent work Maarten, nice to see some balsa deployed too. Also watching the Olympics – thinking of taking up Seniors Snowboarding - awesome insanity, I can think of far worse ways of checking out when the time comes!

Hi Cheyenne,
The crane is used to hang a large anchor used for different river /sea floor types rock,sand,mud.......

Different ship but you get the idea

How he mast is lowered at this moment i don't really know (i have a idea) haven't found any good reference pics,but i will find out

Nice details ! The scratchbuilding is very good and I appreciate how you also added the different textures to the surfaces. Old wood,cast metal,etc.
