Me too Venelin, but only because I have to strip and repaint a few times before I get it reasonable, unlike you. What paints are you using?

Hi, I'm using Scale75 Flesh paint set for first time and I like the colors and the paints, and they dry matt, unlike Vallejo which are slightly satin.
Cheers!

Howdy Y'all
I just joined the campaign. I found this in the stash today so I thought I'd go ahead and build it. I truly only paid 10 cents for this kit. It's a US Halftrack with a 75 mm AT gun.

Venko,
What I see is another masterpiece in progress.Glad you joined this Campaign!
Don,
Your choice might be small parts count and might cost pennies, but it is a resin kit, so it belongs here!

Not sure about the pennies bit Angel. Some of these small resin kits cost an arm!
The real hard part is detail painting interiors were everything is enclosed and where the tracks are moulded in place. I'm sure Don won't have any trouble though

Thank you Angel and Peter. I will do my best.
I probably bought this kit about 10 years ago. I was looking for other kits I bought from the same person but I must have sold or given them away over the years.
Take care,

Painted the Adidas sneakers and the sleeping bag (I guess). I have to make the rifle and binoculars straps, and some touch-ups on the uniform

Enclosed the first progress report. The Tommy’s War 18 pounder is a detailed and complicated kit. And I am sure there are some mistakes in there! Not to let the rivet counters among us down, but for me the hobby is (supposed to be) about de-stressing!
Happy Modeling!

Hello I am in if I can use the kit from another campaign I did not finish? It is just started, nothing major. I had enrolled in the Lost Art campaign but did not finish.
Modelling is something we never perfect. We should never quit learning new tricks and be willing to share what we have learned on our own.

Thanks! Progress is slow as other obligations (… work, family) keep getting in the way of the important bits in life. TBC. C

I made the rifle and binoculars sling and also enchanced the highlights on the wrinkles of the uniform slightly, for more faded look:

Hello all I am going to withdraw from this build as I received a kit of my favorite aircraft. A 1/48 Beechcraft D17 Staggerwing. I want to concentrate on it.
