Raj,
Love to see some texturing on the Tiger. A few strokes of abrasive is a good way to smooth out a bit if you think there is too much!

I managed to get some bench time over the weekend and got some paint sprayed.

I forgot to mention this in the last post. I drilled out all the spare tracks and added some track pins. I only broke 4 drill bits in the process

I wanted to hollow out the guide teeth as well bit I didn't want to risk my last remaining drill bit

I primed the kit with Alclad's Black primer and microfiller

I'm using Mission Model paints for this build. I sprayed the Dunkel Gelb first....

....followed by Olive Grun and...

....Rot Braun.

The final result. This is my first time attempting this type of camo. It looks a bit stark to me right now. I plan to overspray Dunkel Gelb over this to blend in the camo and then add a filter. If I'm still not happy, I can always respray it

Thanks for watching

Cheers

I don't know, but the big decal on tha back top took me about 3 hours to place ans seal it. It is 3-part decal and it was not flexible at all. But in the end it worked.

Great looking builds everyone. Raj I love the cammo on that Tiger. Martin, nice decal work, looks very nice.
I am coming along on the Wespe. Just blocked in the tools, added the decals, and played with some oils. I am going to hit it with a coat of flat in the next few days and finish the tools then dirty up the lower hull. Questions and comments welcome. Let me know if I have overlooked something.

Bryan, that is looking sweet indeed.

Also looking good Martin. May I point out, the rear lights on the M8/M20 are the same standard ones fitted to many US vehicles and only the left (as you face the rear) oval shaped lens is red?

Thank You for the info, I will check if is possible to fix it - the scale is 1/72 so it will be hard to paint it correct.

When I used to do Braille scale (now with my eyes it really is Braille ), I used to use a punch set to make a little disc of masking tape so the bottom of the disc was the curve at the bottom of the oval. That way I could paint the lens red, place the whole disk over the top part of the light, then with it masked, paint over the red with the hull colour.

Whatever you choose to do, it still looks great. I still say getting the rear star down was an achievement!

So I fixed the rear right red light, and added the star. Not the perfect picture, I will make a new ones tomorrow.
