I think it is a great twist on the theme. I'm happy for you to do it that way.

Thanks. Figures are still a weak spot for me.

So I heard back, seems the BT is OK if you fellas feel it fits in. So What is everyone else opinion?

I was asked about this via PM and while at first blush this might not seem correct, having given it more thought, I say go for it, would be an interesting twist~!

Reason I say this is, I will be participating in the Tank Destroyer campaign with a Swedish S tank, so the same kindness should be offered here as well. Again, an interesting twist on it!

well i have been adding more wiring to create handles and the like and the replacement .30 cal barrels have arrived so i have now replaced the resin ones that verlinden give you as the detail on them isn't that great.

Thanks guys. Got the fenders and wheels on, the muffler on the back end is on too. Last thing I need to do is just add the louvers on the engine deck. Thing is that you can see quite a bit of the inside of the hull, gonna go in and paint it black first.

I have finished my entry for this campaign. The captured Italian AB43 armored car in German service. I went for a muddy Fall look.

Overall satisfied with the result, but made some learnings especially on how to use and not use the masking putty.

Cool! Glad you joined this campaign! I had just assumed (You know what happens with you do that) that this thing was skid-steer without tracks, had no idea that the wheels turned, so glad to see it that way

Decals on. Slight issue with one means the markings aren't quite the right set for the unit, but hey everything else on it is what-if... And figures placed (faces need finishing). So for weathering, a question, what colour panel lines would you do? I don't plan to over weather this, just panel lines & some dust I think - more like a parade/cleaned vehicle...

I'd go a dark brown or blue-black Rob. Straight black would be too stark and shadows are not deep black anyway, unless they are cast by artificial light.

Take care around the white though.

Yeah. Looks like Bruce and I both neglected to add the 'model must be exclusive to this build' rule it the regs for our campaigns, so Jesper slipped in on the technicality!! Well played Sir.

Cheers Peter. I have *Payne's Grey and a dark brown (Burnt Umber I think) oil so could mix one of those with odourless thinner... It's one area I struggle with, usually go in too heavy handed...

yeah, the other thing i have noticed is that the verlinden kit has rectangluar rear view mirrors but all the pictures i have at the moment show them as the round type... i guess i will need to get the old punch and die set out and make some disks lol
