How'd you do the shoe laces?

I very carefully drilled tiny holes in the shoes for the laces. The laces were made from copper wire taken from a cut open extension cord. I then proceeded to ruin the tiny holes with super glue blobs when I attached the wire.
My continuing love/hate relationship with superglue.

Super glue is crazy stuff sometimes. Out of the same bottle, you'll get a bond unbelievably strong and fast and again out of the same bottle, it won't stick or dry.

You are aware that it has a "shelf life" and that exposure to heat reduces that considerable. Some folks, if allowed, put it in the fridge in an effort to extend it's active life. I'd recommend only buying small quantities to cover what you need at the time.
