Working on the next phase of this dio beginning with some new figs to help tell the story.
Here is the MB doner kit,sorry for the bad pic,covered in tape. The figs are stock,but I switched the bottom guys' head out with good ol' Hornet.
I have to change the guys from Tankers to Grunts.

Very nice work, Jerry, as always. Question: why putty on the bootees of the dude being carried? I'm sure there's a reason, just curious why?

Probably a bad angle on that pic but the short boot will be open,laces hanging loose,then ripped sock,then bandage then shredded pants. Severe leg wounds from shrapnel.

I use Apoxysculpt a 2 part epoxy putty much like plumbers putty. In fact for years I used plumbers putty called A and B.

Looking good as always. Ive converted this pair as well (but as British Paras). I think youve got the drape of the smock spot on. Keep the updates coming

Thanks and yes,it is bearing down on the forward leg but he is just stuck in gooey stuff to keep him upright. Ohhhh yesss...there will be hair.
I have always devoted a lot of time to showing hair,probably because I myself,have none.

Looking at the first of these 2 new pics I see something that always freekin plagues me. Glue blobs. Freekin glue blobs. I am constantly in awe when I see models that have no glue blobs or smears.

I very carefully drilled tiny holes in the shoes for the laces. The laces were made from copper wire taken from a cut open extension cord. I then proceeded to ruin the tiny holes with super glue blobs when I attached the wire.
My continuing love/hate relationship with superglue.
