I'm up for this one! Please add my name.

This will be my first campaign. I've been waiting for this to start since I saw Mr Roo's proposal months ago. I have a Tamyia 2 1/2 ton 6x6 I've been holding off putting together waiting for this.

I hope we get the go ahead!

All the names since I last posted are added.

A couple of days ago I received a message from Guntruck (who is the campaign manager for those who don't know) and he said, "We (Staff) are reviewing the proposals and deciding on how to schedule them. This one was not submitted in time for the list of ones we have."

He, however, went on to say, "I am aware of [the campaign], however, and will get it included in the mix. I will not announce any campaign selection until we get closer to final decisions and 2006."

So just be patient. Just to let you know I am shooting for a campaign over a group build. However, if denied, I am willing to do a group build. We'll just have to see.

I'm interested in this, not exactly sure what I'll build. I have several ideas that would fit into this but currently have lots of building time (annual leave until Jan) so I'm likely to build whatever I commit to before this starts anyway. I can say it will most likely be a military ambulance or fire apparatus.

Jeff may be outta my league here, but can you add me to the list , I'm thinking of a Zis 44 but have a couple of other ideas. Have to find some interesting photos (research is 1/2 the fun).

I am enlisting too. I have never done a campaign/group build so this is my first.

I think I will do a Beep or the Tamiya Steyr kit.

OK, I'm in ...

I'm leaning very strongly to doing a Truck Ordnance Maintenance in the M16 Machine Shop configuration ...

Tamiya 2-1/2, Calibre35 van body, maybe a hard cab, and some machine tools from CMK ... rest scratchbuilt ...

We are honored that you will share your first campaign with us! All you do is build your model, let us know how you are doing (the community part of the campaign), and post a final picture. Simple enough. Ask questions if you have 'em; I know a lot of people in this campaign are or have built beeps before and I am willing to bet my tuition that they will help you out! Welcome aboard.

Well I'm signed up, I'm thinking about building a 530 series Army fire engine out of a 5 ton truck. Still need to get a 5 ton truck and round up some good photos to work from but I think I can manage that over the next couple of weeks.

Yes - if your Campaign Leader wanted me to change the title - I would...

If there is a general consensus for it, sure. Cliff (MrRoo) suggested the title of Wheels and I added the Move It Again! as homage to the previous campaign. Let me know.

The rules & interpretations pretty much allow any wheeled vehicle. I suggest we leave it at "Wheels" because "Move It Again!" and "Convoy" imply a narrower focus.

John the real and full title is

"WHEELS- move it again"

I think this is how it should stay as well but if the Majority of folk want to change then so be it.

cheers

Cliff,
I was reacting more to the "Convoy" suggestion, and apparently with good reason because it seems to be getting more out of hand ...

Now, question re "photo" requirement -- is that of the specific vehicle to include markings being modeled or is a general photo of the vehicle good enough ? I'm finding that shop vans weren't exactly pin-up pictures ....
