Just a reminder folks. The campaign kicks off in about 3 weeks. No fudging here start date on JUne 1 so no painting or gluing allowed prior to that. Rules are simple any ground vehicle (tracks or wheels) that has a recognized vehicle type cat name such as Tiger, Leopard, Hellcat (that's the TD not airplane) any scale any era. If you haven't signed up yet, go over to the campaign section in the forum and enlist. You have 6 months to complete at least one. Upon completion post your pix on the site and notify me by PM so I can make a list to see you get the award. I have an award in mind and one that Wildcard drew up for me but I don't know how to post it. Basically it is the German iron cross (WW2 colors) ribbon with a cat superimposed on it. Look forward to running my first campaign. HAve a ball folks!

Steve
I'll be a while starting as I am doing a scratchbuild with Roo and also the Duel in the Sky campaign first.
I have the CyberHobby/DML 3 in 1 DAK Tiger just clawing at the box to get out.

Looking forward to starting this one, i have a Tasca Luchs that i am going to be workign on, hopefully it will come out right and do justice to the campaign and the other entries.....it will be good to get back to German AFV's after the modern stuff i have been working on recently.

I’m looking forward to this one and plan to start on the 1st but I won’t really be able to get into this one until my Flattops Campaign entry is complete.
This will be my first 1/72 scale kit. A tiger 1.

Also very anxious to get started. Planning a Tamiya Tiger I (Mid) w/Atak 'Zim', Aber barrel and PE, and WWII Production tracks. Hopefully into a diorama.

Sitting in the stash are Tiger 1s initial and late from Dragon, the Tiger 1 late from AFV Club, various Panthers from Italeria, Dragon and Tamiya, a Hellcat from AFV Club, 2 jadgpanthers, a jadgtiger, and probably a few others I can't remember at the moment...decisions, decisions, decisions. I make just put all the kitties in a stack, close my eyes and grab one

Scott -
Thanks. I'll definitely make use of those 'Reviews'. I was intrigued by that photo (from Concords "War on Two Fronts" if I remember correctly) for a diorama idea and now am trying to decide to go that way or with this one.
Might have to break down and do both if time permits.

Mike - if I can sway you - I'd say go for the snow first. Snow isn't very common and garners a big wow factor.

I've seen that Woodland snow in a bottle stuff used on a few dioramas and it comes out real nice. I'm thinking of doing the Dragon initial Tiger and may snow it up a bit. I've got 3 Tiger 1, 2 Kings, 3 Leopards, 2 Panthers, a Luchs and Berg Tiger in the stash and like Jim F says, I just may mix them up and close my eyes to pick one.

Hi all,
I am building a Tamiya 1/35 German Tiger 1 (mid production) with my Dad (Betheyn), who is building a Dragon 1/35 Late Type Panther A .
I'm really looking forward to this campaign because it will be my third tank (my first German one).

Hi guys,
I've enlisted and was going to build a Leopard 1, but i was just wondering if building a 'Pink Panther' SAS Land Rover qualifies for this campaign?

I think the Pink Panther would be OK for the build as long as you made the Land Rover into the Pink Panther color scheme.Hi guys,

hehe... this could be known as a campaign speed build... wheels and suspension already glued, engine also, and some hull pieces.... should be done by morning with assembly, easy kit, not too good but decent one, will be nice addition on the shelf
