Signed up and ready to go. But still tossing up between:
1. Challenger 1,
2. Churchill AVRE, or
3. Maj Ivan Hirst's little car
I think the latter may be pushing the rules a bit.
cheers
David

I have quite a few choices on this one. But I think its going to be the Bronco Comet that I will be doing for this campaign.
Looking forward to seeing everybodys work as this progresses.
I love Brit armour.

Would an M3 Lee used by the British in Burma qualify for this campaign?

I was wondering if tank belonging to Commonwealth Forces would qualify. I mean for instance Firefly Ic or Cromwell tank in polish marking.

I've got an AS-90 ready to be built, painted and weathered.
and seeing as mostly all the british vehicles in iraq had paint jobs that were chipping off in excess amounts.(That's what someone told me), the weathering will be a lot of fun

I'm in!!
I've got a couple of diorama's I've been tossing around in my head for a while, I would appreciate feedback on which you think I should do.
Idea 1: Scale - 1/76. Title "Stonked by the Teds", features a narrow road with shell craters, wounded infantry with medics rushing to their aid, transported by a Universal Carrier ambulance version, and possibly a jeep as well. All figures and the UC are AB figures.
Idea 2: Scale 1/35. Title undecided. Is a street fighting scene using the Dragon Firefly and mainly Dragon British Inf. I want to capture that look of hiding behind walls, peering round corners and advancing behind a tank, that you often see in wartime photos.
Thx

chrisht: It would be an accpetable tank (the m3)
Warlord: The cromwell would be fine as it was made in britain, for britain.
Redwingnev: I like your 1/35 idea a lot!

Hi
I am going to join this campaign with the scouting capability for the British army I am doing the M3 Scout car bristling with MGs - ready to search out Jerry's positions
I am a little new to the British army, so I am having a few questions on the M3 in the British Army:
I remember to have seen M3s painted in mickey mouse ear camo, but I cannot find the place I saw it, so now I am a little unsure. Anybody else seen this?
Were M3s repained in the british green or did they stay in US OD? I have seen quite some British vehicles with white stars on them, so I guess they stayed in OD or were the stars added after repainting?
Any help is appreciated....

Well I signed up but havn't decided on what to build yet. But I think I will do a Warrior or perhaps a Challenger II.
But until then I will show an old build. 1/72 Dragon Challenger II.

@Euan: thanks for the help. Very cool camo!
I still need to find some info on markings, camo etc.
Anybody have some good sources they can recommend? Also on decal sets that could be used?

Hi All
A few pics of my Tamiya Centaur,my 1st Tammy kit for years.
I wanted to do an OOB build but the lure of Friulis and PE got the better of me
I've got a couple of Ultracast crew figs on order to add
A nice easy kit to build,I forgot what a nice touch the poly caps in the wheels are.
As I don't normally build British tanks, what would be the best colour to paint it?,I know it's supposed to be a "dog s**t" brown colour, is the Tamiya XF-52 flat earth a good match?
