A nice way of celebrating our 10,000th News Report - Images of the Recently covered, (but only showing the box-art), this is the Sd.Kfz.231 from AFV Club
The new, 1/35th Scale Model is:

AF35231 - Sd.Kfz.231 8-Rad (Early type)

Including virtually complete interior detail and items such as fully detailed breach and turret basket this guarantees to be high on all A/C enthusiast's shopping lists.

No word as to release date as yet - TBA.

The Perth site shows what looks like a colored in line sketch of a 232 with antenna, no specific future date listed. From the photos, it looks like the wheels on the 231 are positionable in turning position. Way cool.

Cool milestone. Congrats Jim and the rest of the news team. I've always wanted to build one of these though preferably with the antenna. No doubt that version will appear and I look forward to hearing about it in the news section

Congratulations on the 10,000th news post. This is a vehicle that will find a way into my stash. AFV have been doing some cool stuff lately....kind of flying under the radar. Jeff

10,000 stories on new stuff hitting the shelves? No wonder my wallet is so thin... Congratulations! As for the kit, it looks like a stunner. I've got the old tamiya kit on the bench, but it ain't a patch on this one. Tom

I want one too! After trying hard to get the inside's scratch built in the old Tamiya, I can't wait to get my hands on one of these....wahoooeee!
