In from Acrylicos Vallejo is news of some new painting sets designed to create the perfect color for your AFV.
Vallejo Acrylics have announced new AFV Painting System sets. These sets are grouped colors by vehicle color to allow the painter to recreate the specific color with color variation. The sets are packages of existing Vallejo Air colors matched to the vehicle color. These sets make it easier for the modeler to choose the right colors for painting their model. Vallejo have also announced are two weathering sets as well, again to put together to match the base color of the vehicle.

Thanks, Kevin, for posting that. The new tricks for shading should really help modelers tackle that concept without as much anxiety.

That sounds great. I've been really pleased with their OD for my T28 build and some of my crude results with color modulation. The one issue that I have is that the different shades I mix are tough to exactly reproduce when I'm touching stuff up, so having those pre-mixed is very helpful. Matt

Personally I'm looking forward to trying out the weathering set for Green vehicles, since I mostly model USA WWII-Vietnam. Joel

Interesting to go to half size bottles, hopefully this makes the price more attractive as these sets (from any brand) can get a bit pricy. Looking forward to trying these out

Might be cheaper to buy initially, but usually smaller sizes mean more expensive per volume.
